i was playing around with my laptop, trying to get it to display on my TV screen. it has detected the TV screen and started using that, which is nice, but now i cant get it to go back to using the laptop screen atall. it is just using the TV screen no matter what i do, even if i tell it to use both it isnt even finding the laptop screen any more.
i am using windows 7, and have only recently changed to it, but i know that when i was using windows XP it worked just fine using both.
please help, because i'm heading home tomorrow, and ill be able to take the laptop with me, but if it doesnt revert back to its normal mode then i wont have a second screen for it to display on

In most PC bios screens, it will say "init 1st" and have a couple listings, if this is something you changed within the control panel on Win7 itself, then just disconnecting the other monitor should make it revert back the the laptop screen.

My m8 used to use a big screen to watch movies, He switched between the two by using [CRT/LCD] located on F8 on my laptop.

also, when the cable is out, its quite happy to recognise the laptop screen on reboot, so i've stopped it from being urgent now
