Hey Guys it's iL3THALZz v3 Here, I changed my gamertag to SLY BACON. Im hoping to start a clean sheet with everyone and Im sorry if anyone found me annoying. I will stop posting so much crap and only post when I have a new track. But I would really appreciate it if Murdoc Loch, JJTheGerman, and db VOLTRON db could unblock communications with me on Xbox LIVE so I can try some of your awesome tracks. This is a new me and I'm going to stop being a selfish idiot![]()
Yep, that's one way to not be annoying, creating a new account and stating in the sodding title that its important.
No.
One.
Cares.
Get enjoying Trials, and try joining in with actual conversations/topics now and again. Then, maybe, others won't find you so 'look at me IMPORTANT(impotent?!) BUSINESS.
Seriously![]()
Look why wont people just please stop giving me crap. Im only saying that I changed my name and yes it is quite important because I get alot of friend requests for my tracks and people will be sending requests to the wrong gamertag if I dont tell them. But I changed the Title if it makes you happyOriginally Posted by DarkSoldier![]()
It doesn't need a new topic. Post it in one of your countless other threads. If people can't be bothered to read it, then clearly its their own fault if they get the FR wrong. Stop creating topics that aren't needed, and people will happily accept you here.
Look at it this way, you're currently the forum equivalent of that annoying bloke at work who, whenever he gets sent a joke, he HAS to email it to everybody. Its annoying. Stop it.
And welcome.
Ok I understand, I'm still not used to how people work these threads but I'll try my best. So everytime I make a new track I can post a new topic right?
Thanks for the Welcome![]()

Make one track thread topic, edit the OP and change the title to reflect a new track coming out. Make a new post to notify people there is a new track. Check out the User Created Section, hell even my track thread, as an example.

I initially wasn't going to respond to this in hopes that it would just go away, but I figure I'll try and explain it clearly before things get out of hand. Sly, This post may contain some constructive criticism, but please understand that I am writing this for your benefit, and not to get on your case.
People will continue to find you regardless of your GT change. The most appropriate way to advertise your change would probably be to mention it on the title of your Custom Track thread in the User Created Tracks section, or in the Player Area. I also think it's acceptable to send an XBL message to announce a GT change. Some may feel differently, but I get them all the time and don't mind. Another reason why people might find this annoying is because Gen Discussion is usually for discussions about the game. You'll find you get less heat if you post things in the appropriate forums.
Most of us understand that reputation counts for a lot, and we want to keep our reps clear. That's important to us too. But now we have at least 3 topics in the General forum that are dealing with the same series of events. If you keep one topic going, then people just ignore it when they are no longer interested. However, when a new topic pops up, many people will generally click on it to see what it is. If that topic wastes their time, then you get reactions like you have been getting
I know you may want everyone to read it, but honestly, people pick and choose what they read. The more stuff they have to scroll over, the more people get annoyed. I don't read over half the topics on the board, simply because I'm not interested. What's important to you may not be important to someone else. Yes, that includes the false accusations and the GT change. It's a huge event for you, but for almost everyone else here, it has very little to no impact. Sorry, but that's just the way it is.
You wanted to start off clean, and with an untarnished reputation. Be careful that you're not damaging it with your posting habits.
Hey slybacon you look like a cool guy that is being mistreated by some on this community. Just so you know I hope to try your tracks someday and see what kind of wicked courses you come up with.
Once again welcome to the community and even though some of the people here are chumps, I'm sure you will find several awesome posters and supporters on here.
Send me a Friend Request whenever you want.
Your Truly,

So I'll have one thread called My Track List with a list of my tracks and links to videos and all that. Then when i make a new track I post a new thread with a link to the other thread i did for my track list? Is that what you mean?Originally Posted by Jarr3tt88
