    Mung needs a little help!

    I was wondering if there is anyone on here who can aid me on what capture cards some of you guys use. I'm wanting to record my tracks and replays in the near future.

    I use a Dazzle DVC 100, it only cost £30-ish + £10-ish for leads and P&P. The quality isn't great, I warn you. BUT it does what it's supposed to do, it's easy to setup and the quality is watchable.

    Here's one of my videos I used the Dazzle DVC 100 for;

    Here's the link where I got it from:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...T9V5JC57FM6NMK

    Under the "Frequently bought together" section lower down the page are the splitters and the cable you need.

    If you are interested you'll need 3xSplitters and 1xLead

    Note: There are better Dazzles but for higher prices, mine's the basic of the basic.

    Thank you much Shadow. I can't see pictures or videos on this network I'm on but I appreciate your feedback and will check this out as soon as I get home from work.

    Hey Mung - You may have heard that many of us use the Hauppauge HD PVR.

    http://www.hauppauge.com/site/products/data_hdpvr.html

    It's an external recorder that goes between your XBOX and your TV, which connects to your computer via USB. Pretty easy to use, but the drawback is that it doesn't come with any video editing software. It also might be a little expensive - I paid $250 USD for mine a couple years ago now.

    Whats the best decent price for a capture card that comes with editting software? Nothing too flashy, just somethin that i can make a trials montage with, and record some replays too.

    just gonna give this a little bump, because ive got enough stuff i want to record to justify getting a cheapo one myself.

    anyone know of some really cheap capture cards. i think my dad has video editing software already, so i wont need that bundled with it.

    Hey Les, I assume you need a splitter for this? Let me know because I've put this off long enough.
