Hi, I want to know if there will be more object to use in the bigthrill pack?Cause if not, I'm not sure if I will get it. I already have 200 more tracks so one more or one less does'nt make a big diff. I'm more a creator than a racer.![]()
doesnt look like it mate![]()
I dont get this, why not add a couple objects? oh well, more tracks is still good, as long as you guys dont make it 800 ms points, or else no ones going to get it.Originally Posted by WILLYUMZ

Me too! The true Trials fans would.Originally Posted by WILLYUMZCustoms don't have leaderboards, the 50 in the Big Thrills do, they also count towards GLB. No more skill games equals the better riders getting the most points, like it should be!

Dude t4k I dont know if that true trials fan stuff was shot at me but i am on these forums like at least 4 times a day, help people make vids for their tracks, play other peoples tracks, make my own tracks(like 30 maybe) and still get higher on the leaderboards. All im saying is that they would be charging more than the big pack which included new tracks AND new skill games and objects in the editor, so it just would feel like a little bit of a rip off, but there probably going to make it 400 anyway in which case I will get it.![]()
I didn't mean it in a nasty way Zoid, I just meant that everyone who loves Trials will buy every DLC no matter the price. Same with any other game with DLC, Battlefield:Bad Company 2, I bought all the DLC, even though it was expensive, simply because I love that game.Originally Posted by Zoidberg747![]()

Oh,, Iget what your saying and id probably get it too, but i hope they will make it 400
There has been no talk about adding more objects. If they did, it would be a very welcome surprise to the community.
My take on this is that adding more objects would split the people who can enjoy the customs even more.
People who bought the game but not the BIG Pack can barely play any of the custom tracks anymore. By introducing further objects, those who chose not to buy Big Thrills wouldn't be able to play many customs created after it was released.
If the game had a larger following, then I would say this would be a possibility, but there's no point in dividing the community again.
This is true. If we had a completely new object set in the new DLC, most players would be forced to buy both Big Pack and Big Thrills before they could play any custom tracks. Since the track creators are usually very big fans of the game, they will have the new DLC on day one, and will use it's objects extensively in basically all their new tracks. And since there are only 7 sharing slots, there is unfortunately often no room to share old tracks... Basically meaning that any new players who buys the game must buy two DLCs before they can play the tracks. This is the main reason why we chose to include all the 50 Big Pack objects to the Big Thrills pack. Now the player can buy either one to play all the customs. So for a new player who just buys one DLC, the Big Thrills will also basically include 50 brand new objects he has never seen before.Originally Posted by lespritdelescalier
As all Trials HD players know (and love the game about) is the fact that the game has zero track loading times, and instant restarts. Most players however do not consider the technology behind this. We must load our whole object set to the console memory at the game startup (the first loading screen) and keep it there. Since all consoles have limited amount of memory, we just cannot load more and more stuff there indefinitely. Big Pack was really big (50 new objects), and used majority of our free memory we reserved for DLCs. For the new pack we basically had two choices: either to release very many tracks (new tracks use very little memory) and no objects at all, or to release a small amount of tracks and a small amount of extra objects (objects and their textures take a lot of memory). We obviously went with the very many tracks path, since that's what most players have been asking here in the forums. And ultimately I think it's the best choice in other ways as well (it doesn't split the community like a new pack with even just a few new objects would do).
