Does anybody remember this? It was one of the most frustrating games I've ever played.

nice graphics (motorcycle&rider), poor gameplay.

trialshd is better, but perhaps in the trialshd2 the graphics on the bike and rider should be inspired in this game

Maybe this was already done by sum1 and i missed it, but would you agree that storkens grass looks really good? i was kinda impressed more with that than the racing line to begin with.

I surely agree. Storcken is my favorite mapmaker, I wasn't dissing him or his track, I think Arena Champ 5 is a fantastic track, my rant was aimed at Raist and all the others who perpetuate the common misconception that flow/speed = trials. I DO prefer technical tracks that try to emulate the real life sport but as far as motocross tracks go, Arena Champ is my favorite. Many people do supercross tracks without even knowing it but this track clearly was made to look like an actual supercross stadium and reminds me of Excitebike on the NES. Storcken rules!

I haven't gotten to play the arena champ series yet(storcken is one of my favs aswell), but after listening to the convo about trials vs motocross.

I was embarrassingly unaware of the actual "Trials" sport after all this time of playing trials hd.(let the making fun begin )

In my defense, it's not that big or well know sport, and the way redlynx made the game, (platinum times, big jumps, fast loops) I can see why people would misconceive Trials hd for motorcross with a twist. And in a lot of ways it actually is. The game wouldn't have been successful if it wasn't like the way it is.

I understand your "Pure Trials" series now. The game has a lot more meaning to me now.

I agree with Heet too, I like taking the game into other worlds and other places. Nothing wrong with variety

I've spent a lot of time on threads getting good trac makers names a touch more noticeable. If I maker deserves a mention I will do my best to promote his name a bit further.
And all this has ended up being is a silly ****gin game I feel.
I've watched trials plenty. And I understand the game.
I've stated about many makers there the best and generally the threads get good feed back.
And for s reason this had been negative.
I've enjoyed all your tracs and given feedback where I can for what its worth.
I don't know what to type here except I'm kinda shocked the negative way this thread has gone.
Maybe I shouldn't bother promoting a great map maker.
Shame on you.
And I say it in highest regard cause the posters who maps I've played are also EPIC map makers.
Just a shame this simple thread which required nothing more than a message of " yeah sweet trac storken" has not had any positive feedback

Dude raistlin a ton of them have said that storcken is there favorite mapmaker they just said his map was not trials but motocross.

I would love to see a video of this ARENA CHAMP 5 track. I watch a bunch of storken's track videos on youtube and they looked amazing. Now I really want to see this one that all the talk is about.
