I was trying to defend mjayyyy and slinky with my post, because they made one or two posts that were arrogant and no one would let it go, but now it comes back to arguments.

so..... The tracks that made it in were redlynx favorites out of the 100, if they couldnt find ten good tracks out of 100... it didnt happen. I find the new tracks to be very enjoyable, and considering theres only 100 so called "underground riders" well of course theyll pick the ones that are fun for the other 799,999,900 gamers that play.

The main point though, is KO and red would keep" all dlc competition tracks suck" to themselves out of respect for the creators and to not cause conflicts like these. jmo

Your KD in public matches for multiplayers is a joke , yet most multiplayer heads will never realize this in their lifetime. True professional gaming is almost underground.

+1 - It's sad that you're the only person I've ever come across (on consoles) that understands this.

For instance when I say something like o " Most of the tracks that won the DLC contest were terrible", im not trolling. I am speaking the truth.

No sir, you ARE in fact trolling, do you know the definition of trolling? Probably not. That statement is designed to demean and belittle. That's trolling.

His intentions weren't to troll. He's actually stating his 'opinion' which is, in MY opinion, mostly true.

Those ten tracks, in the eyes of Redlynx (the only group of people who's opinion actually MATTERS in connection with those tracks) were the BEST tracks. They are in the game, and that's the proof.

What you think about them is irrelevant. They won, they ARE the best. That's the fact.

Slinky's opinion on the track is irrelevant, but to say RL's opinion on the winning tracks are in FACT the BEST makes no sense. It's still an opinion, man. With that logic, every decision made by politicians, game developers, etc. would always be right.

When you speak of opinions, it's not a case of true or false. I like 8 out of 10 of the tracks that were included, so "terrible" is not true.

Do you see where speaking/typing as if your opinion, and ONLY your opinion can be construed as arrogant and trollish? Maybe he didn't mean it the way I read it.

I'll admit that I am biased towards at least 1 of the tracks that was included, but at least 7 of the other tracks were made by people that aren't on my friends list. I'm not beholden towards them, and the tracks aren't what I would ever call terrible. They all have problems, mine included, but they are mostly solid tracks.

I did not type what I really wanted to say, or what I was thinking. I don't mean that I held back, merely that my words are confusing and don't clearly show my point.

This is (hopefully) what I meant;

The tracks won because Microsoft/ePrize saw merit in them. The tracks won because Redlynx saw them as the best of what they received. No matter what the detractors feel like saying or typing, those 10 tracks are now, and forever, a part of the Trials HD legacy. Those ten designers will always feel like a part of the game and be honored. There are certainly better tracks out there in my opinion, and I'm sure that every single track is someone's least favorite in the game.

If you want to be competitive, get over the fact that they aren't your favorites and rip through them, destroy the time, and never play them again.

That's really all that needs to be said on that issue, everything else, the complaining, the fighting, the ******** to go along with this has been done and said fifty times in twenty threads.

Let's put this in the past.
