Wrong Zoid. I said in my first post in this thread, that I prefer Halo Reach and am still undecided about CoD. Merely answering the thread question.

TrialsAddict then ripped on me for buying an xbox.
He then said "I hate though is the fact that about 50% or more of the people who are unsure about Black Ops or are already hating it are doing so because Mw2 turned out to be **** and they are already taking that and throwing it on Black Ops just because it is the next game in the series."...

...Even though I hadn't said a single thing in this thread.

bDIdol then decided to compare the two games in his next post stating facts, showing that the Black Ops will most likely be similiar to MW2. As it does not bring anything original to the table.

So Technically TrialsAddict actually started this "war"

I must admit though, even I am being immature by carrying this on, but I feel that I must point you guys in the right direction.

Okay t4kshadow you proved me wrong you didnt start it but when i said all it takes in halo is random shooting he just said" Put the mouse down.now" which was exactly what he said about cod but at least I didn't get all uptight about it

I am looking much more forward to halo reach.
I´ve got mw2 and soon i put it down for halo 3 again.
I think cod players are all such dicks. Ahh I am cool I am camping for a big series.
Halo definitely has more different game modes and more social play.
Furthermore halo has a brilliant forge which develops a very large playing motivation.

I am far more excited for halo reach than black ops. They are releasing the same
game year after year nearly like Fifa.

Big Thrills is awesome, but in all honesty Reach will have more replay value than Big Thrill

and i want to stay out of this fierce little bo vs reach debate but for what its worth;

1. zoidberg: halo takes about 3 times more skill than cod, not saying if thats good or bad but its true
2. yes bo will be mw2 with a few extra features... but is that a bad thing? COD is the most popular online shooter EVER! why would they alter anything?
3. they will both be fantastic games but will definitely lose out on 'willyumz-play-time' to the Big Thrills DLC

Definitley a bad thing because the replay value suffers if you release the same game year after year after year.
They haven´t even added something to the mp component, it is totally the same.
Halo on the other hand has gone through lots of gameplay changes:
In Halo 2 they first started with a very good online shooter on a console.
In Halo 3 they added forge and mode customization not to forget the cinema and fileshare system.
In Halo reach they improve the forge, change the multiplayer basics completly and have a lot of new gametypes and new customization possibilities. Also they added an open fileshare system and improved the veto system by giving 3 possibilities to choose from or even the possibility to choose none of them.

it isnt the same game year after year. it is roughly the same game engine year after year. and it is fantastic. so much so that i struggle to enjoy a lot of fps games nowadays because i compare the 'feel' of them to call of duty, and MOST completely fail in comparison.

think of it as a HUUUGE dlc project. what remains each year is the same basic controls and the same core game structure BUT:

the graphics are improved,
completely new range of maps,
selection of new and older weapons,
all new exciting single-player...

PLUS all of the new features they slip in that a lot of you seem to miss:

zombies
spec ops
killstreaks etc.
and now; theatre mode, ai multiplayer, wager matches, currency...

and there are more. its NOT the same game each year, it is similar to the previous few games but in no way can that be considered a bad thing. and dont just take my word, ask any of the MILLIONS who play cod everyday. it really isnt a game that has many faults to pick on unless youre being extremely biased or very trivial...

same as halo. but instead of giving my view on some of the criticism that has been dished out on here against halo, im gonna leave it because this post is too long already, especially for someone who didnt want to get involved

Biased much Bdidol has started just as many arguments on this thread as sharpiesniffer, and When i said i didnt like halo you guys got crazy so really YOU AND BDIDOL have turned this thread into cod vs. halo, not us.

I did not start any argument, I simply stated my enthusiasm and regards towards the two popular franchises, and gave my piece as it is.

I did not have any intentions of starting any arguments and regret that this thread is what it is now.
The reason I have decided to keep replying is because I wish to defend my own posts, self, and T4KShadow's post regarding Sharpiesniffer's hostile reply to T4K's buying a new xbox.

When reading this entire post, think: Who started the accusations and arguments before anyone else?

I am and was simply defending my own opinions as I care about my image and what my final thought is. And now you know..
