You guys ever hit a wall???

I've improved a lot in a short amount of time. For the longest I was stuck around 25,000 + DLC and 35,000. Within the last week or so, I have gotten my ranks down to 8,800 + DLC and 12,100. But since then I can't beat ANY of my scores. I haven't moved down at all. I'm kind of just stuck now. For the last 3 days, I haven't beaten a single track time or lowered a number of faults, nor have I beaten any of my Skill Games Scores. I play about an hour and a half a day.

Is it possible that my trials skills have peaked?

Hey - just keep at it. I started playing this game in October of last year, and I was getting platinums in March and April. I'm still improving my times - I took 25 seconds off my Diabolic time last night.

Here are some things I would suggest:

Make yourself a list of Goals. You can make it up as you go along if you'd like. I told myself that I would aim for all gold medals, then zero faults, then platinum, etc. Work your way up from beginner and easy first. Clean up all those tracks, and by the time you hit medium, you should have much less trouble obtaining good times. Don't worry if the tougher tracks give you trouble. You'll work your way there.

Watch the replays of the people who are slightly ahead of you on the leaderboards. What little things are they doing that save them a second? You can watch the top replays too, but usually it will be easier to incorporate techniques of the people who are slightly faster than you.

Play customs. For awhile, I didn't even try to do well on most of the customs I played. I just played through them, and the variety of obstacles you'll encounter will help develop your skills. Spend some time on challenging obstacles, or maybe even build your own track with obstacles you're having trouble with. Your riding will definitely improve if you give time to customs.

Hope some of that helps! Good luck!

Thanks for the tips. Yeah I just run through customs. I have bronze medals on all I have beaten. Never really tried to do "good", just wanted to beat the tracks. So I'll def work on the customs, I can see how that will help me improve. I have some tracks from some great creators. QC Chopper, Bluemageftw, Jook13, Boodadust, and Redrider. Looks like I need to show those some attention instead of just trying to cross the finish line.

I made me a track last night to help me practice on the things I have trouble with. Gonna give that some attention as well. Thanks again for the advice.

don't expect you will be a Trials God so quickly, some people it comes natural to have skill at a game, but don't worry even they have limits. I managed to buy the game and get to extreme and think yeah I am going for all gold... because I pushed myself to get that goal... keep setting a record keep at it and practising and you will get better. The best players in the world are still improving... not as rapid as you should be though. Keep it up.

Yes and I bear proof >>

But anyways, ya I hit a BIG wall right around 5k in the rankings, lost motivation, let my ranking slip to around 7k. Came back to the game under a different name "TrialsHC" and tried all over only to get to that same wall. So I decided to go back to my original times/scores under Purp Kush Killa and try again! Now over the past week I've gone from 6500 down to 1600. I think I've finally come to grips with how the bikes ride and handle.

Listen to lesprit, and also download the Global leaderboard excel sheets and see where you are lacking the most.
