I have figured out how to glue objects together, but when I test the track they move. I tried to glue them to the ground, but it won't work. Can anyone help me?
No need to glue to ground lol you can't do that anyway.....Just keep physics off and they don't move.
oh ok... thank you very much!Originally Posted by Jarr3tt88
Hey - if you're trying to use something like a piston, you'll need to glue one end of the piston to a stationary object rather than the ground. The stationary object doesn't necessarily need to be "on screen", as you can glue the piston to any object as long as that object doesn't have physics on. You'll probably have to select the stationary object and then glue it to the piston, as trying to glue the physics enabled piston might not work.
If you let us know exactly what you're trying to do, we can help you a bit better.![]()

If I hit them wrong they slide. That's why I wanted them to not move. I have some angled boxes after that, but I haven't tested them yet, because I'm having the moving issue with the first 3 objects.
Texas, only glue if you have moving complex physics objects. Otherwise you just eat at your track size (8kb max)
No physics = NO GLUE!
Yeah, just make sure physics aren't enabled on all of the objects unless you want them to move. Most objects come with physics off. If you are copying/pasting an object that has physics enabled, it will automatically have physics turned on. Grab a new object from the list, and you should be okay.
Oh. thanks a lot. yeah I have everthing glued together. Is there a way to undo the glue I have already put on? Or do I need to delete everything and redo it?Originally Posted by Jarr3tt88
If you hold LB and select an object, it will select only one part of the glued object. From there, press UP and choose Glue, and you can unglue stuff. If you select the entire glued object it will not give you this option. Sometimes this is time consuming and it's quicker to just rebuild.Originally Posted by texasmade84
Hold LB click the object you want to unglue, then click the other objects. Youll know when they unglue when you see no more lines connecting themOriginally Posted by texasmade84
