PC Version helps fine tune Trials HD play

Call me crazy, but I think by playing Trials 2 SE lately I have improved my riding skills greatly when playing on the Trials HD format.

The physics on the PC Version seem to be more sensitive and less forgiving. After clocking 93 hours on Trials 2 SE I find myself playing Trials HD thinking "man, controlling the bike is soo much easier now!"

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

In Trials HD it's easy to fall into the trap of simply reacting to whatever the bikes doing at that moment in time; the rotation physics react so quickly that you can usually compensate.
In T2SE the time taken to get the rider from a full frontal to a full backward position (and vice versa) is slower, and the midair change in rotation when you hold down left/right is also much slower. Therefore to ride well you need to be much more predictive; know what the bike's going to do, be more wary of how you land and what effect it will have on the bike, etc. etc..
If you're finding playing T2SE is helping your THD riding, it's probably because you're subconsciously starting to understand the physics better, and therefore starting to predict what effect your inputs are going to have in a half second's time, and adjusting them accordingly.

i played the demo of Trials 2SE and just couldn't get into it. i think it's just cos i'd played Trials HD to death first. but it doesn't seem half as good due to the rigidity of "once you've made a move that's it". if you screw up it's hard to save yourself, and it seems overly reliant on flipping.
