describe your level of skill on trials when you were at your worst.
on the day the game was released i had no mspoints so i got the trial version. for that first day i struggled to finish wheres the ground? not to get gold, just to finish it. i was looking at the lb times thinking "who's this sebbbi and how the hell has he done that in under a minute?"![]()
lets have some more..
when i first got the game i thought i was good getting a silver lol couldn't finish any hard track and had 1 silver out of all beginner, easy and medium lol and when i looked at the leaderboard i didnt know about replays and thought yeah course you did it that fast stupid modder lol ive platinumed everything now tho
I honestly thought Lestropie was cheatin...somehow...ha.
I did what all my friends still do...when the track gets technical, i keep pressin the stick to the right in thinkin the rider will just keep on goin straight and fast. And when i got frustrated on the extreme tracks, i would bail out before i crash and hope the rider flys past the next checkpoint to enable it.
Man...i miss suckin at this game.![]()
used to get stuck on king of the hill first checkpoint constantly... that **** used to frustrate the hell out of me, should've realized i had to play it like a real bike instead of a videogame bike
I only discovered how bad I was when I got to Hard and Extreme Tracks, when I got like 20 faults on KOTH... Then going on to Extreme I thought it was near impossible... Goin' Up was my worst enemy... I did Inferno II first with 260 faults... went straight to the last one... But then doing Brown Boxes, I couldn't do it for ages. Groundhog did no problem... 30 faults first time. Goin' Up messed me over so badly... I kept thinking it was impossible to get over some objects and lacked all control altogether.
I made sure Goin' Up was going to pay for what it did to me...
Me and my friend Jake, we are like Trials Bro's we had a competition to get better and beat one another... Eventually we both decided Goin' Up was the hardest track to no fault: He ended up getting 6 faults to my 7... After many grueling attempts I got 2 faults. Then he got one... Thing is, our times were improving dramatically... from 3 mins to 1:40... We got to the extent where we couldn't do it... Then I finally got the best of him.
To this day... I keep trying that track... I am now 89th.![]()
The first time I played Technique, I beat it with 148 faults
I used to press the b button even if i made the obstacle, or I would press back instead of b at the end of the trackOriginally Posted by jhop420![]()
Haha. I got 500.Originally Posted by jhop420
I remember getting gold on Inferno for the first time. It was 22 faults ( I think 25 is the benchmark for gold). That was the point I decided to get serious about 0 faulting all the tracks. I was always racing Ender trying to 0 fault the extremes and harder tournaments before him... Usually he got it first. I think he was one of the first guys here on my FL, cant believe he stayed on after playing my first few tracks I made.
i used to hold RT all the time, no matter what's in front of me, never decelerating, i can remember my rodeo runs with the phoenix heheh could'nt stabilize the bike when it start bouncing and messed up some good runs because of that thing.
I remember spending 500 faults trying to get over the box on Goin' Up and thinking this is impossible, then saw Lestropies' replay and he did it first time, now I can do i tfirst time too, just still can't get the platinum time on it.
KOTH took me over 200 faults at first...I was total crap at trials when i first got it, I remember watching a youtube video with some tips and the guy was scrolling through the menus with all plats on all tracks and I thought he must be superhuman, and now I am only missing 2 plats myself. Funny how I never thought I would get any platinums and now I can do them all the time!
great game
