Active rotation not visible in editor

My apologies if someone did post something like this before. I did a quick search for a couple terms, and it pulled up nothing relevant.

Awhile back, I think I was talking to Deeter, and he mentioned that he couldn't see which active rotation was selected for his objects in the editor. I had never heard about it before that point, so I naturally assumed that Deeter was a filthy liar and continued about my business. (kidding!)

I heard this from a few more people before I actually experienced it myself. It didn't happen on all of the objects that I was working with, but about half of them on a particular track. I'm not sure if it was only happening to specific objects, or if it was specific instances of objects.

Is this happening to many other people? Any idea what causes this? How it can be avoided?

Do you mean that you can't see rotation when pressing the back button to test physics?
If that's the case then simply enabling animation on the objects usually works for me

I get this problem sometimes after I've glued or sub-selected a few objects or with large objects like I-beam huge/ metal pole long and the rotation rings are too big to fit in the screen.
Is this what you were refering to?
I notice it when you put explosives too, it's really hard to tell which rotation is active.

I don't use physics on too much, so it wasn't that. I tried enabling physics in the editor to see if i changed the way the rotation appeared, and didn't see anything weird. It also definitely wasn't with a glued together object, as I haven't been gluing anything recently.

I've always had trouble seeing the rotation on an explosive, but that's only because of the big reddish ball around the whole thing.

These were just regular items, probably ramps, planks, crossbeams, etc.
