Of the seven (7) tracks that I downloaded from him last night after he added me as a friend I recognized two (2) of them. B0R15's - MEDIUM BLEND, which he renamed as MIX UP, and R0T's - CAMELTOE which he renamed as DARK ONE.
The other five (5) I did not recognize. I never played them before. They sure as hell were good. I just don't know who made them.
This is a violation of XBOX - CODE OF CONDUCT and every honest track creator's rights. Us track creator's spend hundreds of hours creating tracks and in five (5) minutes someone can steal our hard work and pawn it off as their own.
Address this issue and address it now!
Especially now with the new Thrills DLC coming out. Some poor bugger can make a track, upload it for the contest, someone else steal it, now it's he said, she said. Prove who originally made it?
Is the original creators name saved in the codec?

Catch them, ban them. Better yet patch the game so this is not possible.

This problem has been fixed. It's not possible for anyone to steal a track now.
As for the DLC contest, you have to have created a "NEW" track, the creation date is saved to the file. This eliminates anyone who stole a track(when it was possible) from submitting it into the competition as their own.
I agree though, he should be banned, but all of the other stuff, you don't need to worry about anymore.....Thankfully

I still think this topic should remain here to get rid of those people that did rip off tracks.

I have had this guy on my friends list before. He's has a lot of stolen tracks. At least 12 that I know of..... probably more.

I was playing Trials last night when I got a FR from above mentioned person, so when I got the FR I exited the custom I was playing and looked for his name, downloaded the seven (7) he had shared. Yadda Yadda Yadda.
I reconized a couple so I went back to the in-game list to double check. No tracks available.
I cross referenced and made sure of what I was thinking by playing the originals and then his (not his) and then watching the replays.
I also asked him today in a message before I went to work why he was sharing other peoples tracks? When I came home from work and checked my messages/friends/etc. Above mentioned person had removed themselves from my friends list.
That's when I decided enough is enough. Lets get rid of these People.
They can always make new accounts, and acording to Crow the track stealing glitch has been fixed. So there hopefully will be no more.
But losing 11-12 thousand gamerscore + whatever would be a good kick in the dumper. Not to mention the others. This is the one I busted. Let's find some more and get rid of them.

I got real angry about people doing this before but the sad thing is, even though the patch fixed it, there is nothing to stop people clearing their cache and doing it offline without the update.
Any Developers/Moderators have anything to say about this?
Besides deleting this trend?
