Think of other sequels like halo 3 or left 4 dead 2. They get way more attention than left 4 dead or halo 2. same goes with trials. The new game gets more attention, so even if you think the game is better they have to pay a lot of attention to trials hd because its newer and a lot of peple play it.

I can't say anything about the Halo series because I haven't got an Xbox and I didn't play Halo 1/2 on PC because I just didn't like the game.

L4D2 was released pretty soon after L4D1 (a year) and lots of fans complained about that, and a few thousand boycotted L4D2. Valve are going to release another DLC for L4D1 so The Passing in L4D2 makes more sense because they know there are people who still play the first game, even though a lot more play the second one.

Also L4D1 is still getting updates.

ya but at least relynx kind of supports pc users. If your not a pc user you're dead to valve. I love tf2, but i had to quit because almost every server was lagged or hacked. And they only released more dlc because so many people complained, I wish they would just forget the first one, because even though I love it, left 4 dead 2 is better and it really didn't deserve to be boycotted. my point is at least redlynx cares remotely unlike Valve.

Valve release DLC for free for PC users but charge Xbox users, I say that's supporting PC users. Although I agree about the Valve servers being laggy and people using aimbots/wallhacks/whatever, that's not really Valve's fault because whatever they do to stop it the people who make the hack tools find a way around it.

Left 4 Dead 1 was a darker, grittier game which was somewhat creepier but it had less weapons. On the plus side it didn't have the unreasonably-overpowered defibs.

L4D2 had more colour in its characters and more focus on gameplay than atmosphere, it's a matter of taste. Also the new survivors suck compared to Zoey, Bill and Louis.

But back to your point, RedLynx still answer my support requests which I send mainly to chat with Anttiki, and Valve ignore you on the forums and let the community help you instead. So in terms of "caring" I guess RedLynx beats Valve, but Valve still beats RedLynx in terms of updating/supporting/DLCing(?) their games. Of course by supporting I mean updating exploits that ruin the multiplayer experience.

Yeah youre right, but id rather have a gaming company who cares rather than throw out a bunch of updates.

you know i am going to defend redlynx here, i have had my fall outs with redlynx and the game myself, i raged HARD when they announced Trials HD was only for console and went out my way to flame redlynx on this forum when they did however i was wrong to do it. Everyone can see how successful HD has been for Redlynx so thats great (altho i still rage a little )

HOWEVER i have been here from the start, i have been one of the players you spoke of at one point holding 16 1st place prises, also i was the second ever true fan so i think i can safley say that Redlynx are great at stupport however they no longer release updates for a game which is three years old. they are only a small company and they simply cannot afford to pump time into a game which is effectivly old as hell in game years, when they game came out they were responsive to problems and although their were problems they were fixed for free fast.

Also let me point out that its three years on and you are able to talk to the developers of the game about this? and you think they dont care? go play the new need for speed find one of the many bugs and try to get it fixed. then tell me they dont care
