Im done with you, your gay *** topic, and every little *** who agrees with you so c ya.
You called my arse gay? HOW DARE YOU?! I'll have you know it's very much straight. You gimp.Originally Posted by Trialsaddict

And does this mean you're finally going to go away to the THD board where you belong? If you hate T2SE so much then why don't you take your mouse, scroll to the top of the screen, click on Board Index and click on "Trials HD General Discussion" when you have absolutely no place here?
Why do you leave your Xbox on all night anyway? That's just inconsiderate. What about your electric bills? And the fact the Xbox is known to short fuses and can cause fires if left on too long?
Just because they agree with me doesn't make them ***s either. Take NorfaiR, for example, call him gay and thou shalt suffer a wrath known only to me. Because I called him gay. Or made a joke calling him gay, whatever.
Also, you're meant to put spaces after commas and full-stops or periods or whatever you call them. Too busy bumming your Xbox to go to school, you little ****?

Sorry Sipe. <3
I noticed you didn't answer the questions posed in the first post, just told me to shut up.
Also, delete Trialsaddict posts and any posts that respond to him, please. It's causing a distraction in the discussion.
It wouldnt be a distraction in this stupid discussion if you diidnt respond to any of my comments, simple as that.So in the end, your fault.![]()
I just wanted to congratulate http://www.redlynxtrials.com/Profile...name=Narcissus who appeared out of nowhere and got Top Dog on W1! Finally, someone beat Hugh! =D
Oh, and Trialsaddict... Argue with this without looking like a ******bag.
Ok, ignoring the 'posting 5killzorz" and console-wars flame baiting...
I think we need to look at this game from RedLynx's perspective. OK, TrialsHD was a massive success as far as I'm aware, but before that I don't hink Redlynx's games have sold quite as much. The reason they are still around, and made Trials 2 in the first place, is because of lots of good business decisions. In this industry you have to make your products as quickly and efficiently as possible and try to get it out to as many people as you can, then you need to move on to your next product right away.
What mistake did RedLynx make? Well the 9th patch couldn't be forced out because they couldn't make it a mandatory addition to some versions of the game that were released into an expanded area of the market. So instead of removing the key online features from tens of thousands of copies of the game, they decided that the few minor UI tweaks and the adjustment of Wheelie code, weren't that important, and the game was good enough as it is. And lets face it, the game is damn near perfect at the moment.
OK, it was a slight mistake to not have the patching process work on those boxed copies of the game... but RedLynx needs to make money, they can't pass up on good deals because they can't gaurantee every function is future proofed.
One other thing, Alessandr0, do you work in an industry that releases products (and then moves onto new ones). I didn't fully appreciate this until I started for the company that I'm with now, but when you release a product, you can have all the best intentions in the world to keep it supported, but in the end it's not always possible. Available resources and finances more often than not mean you just have to move on and concentrate on your latest projects. I'm frankly amazed that RedLynx still seem to care about Trials2, given how long ago they finished with it - stuff like adjusting the ranking calculations, keeping the leaderboards free from cheaters, being active in the community... not fogetting that they've released nearly 30 new tracks post release. This is stuff that hasn't earned them much money, I think it makes RedLynx really stand out as caring for their communties, much more than most developers are able to do.
In conclusion I think it's wholely unjustified to criticise RedLynx just cause they couldn't release the 1.09 patch. On the contratry, I think we should be extremely greatful that they do as much as they have done for the community.
Wheelie scoring was a game bug. We would never ban anyone because our game has a bug. If you cheat by modifying the game, modifying the game network traffic or you are using a cheating program, we will act. Banning someone by just playing the game would be absurd. We took full responsibility for this bug and fixed it by modifying the server. No one needed to be banned.Originally Posted by Alessandr0

After the five patches we also fixed the wheelie exploit by modifying our server code. We are still spending time to investigate all new cheaters and banning them daily to keep the high score lists free of cheaters. And we are still spending time to answer the technical support requests from all the new Trials 2 SE players. Most companies do not offer support like this. Our support has been excellent by any means. It's completely arrogant to say anything else.Originally Posted by Alessandr0

The problem is that some of the retailers selling the boxed versions demanded that they want to have their own installers instead of our. They wanted all the games they retail to be installed by same easy way - a pretty reasonable request by any means. This unfortunately made some of the boxed versions incompatible with our installer/updater system. Sadly we didn't notice this issue during our testing. If we modify the server to block all the old versions, the players who have bought the boxed version will no longer be able to play the game at all, as their profiles are saved to our server. This is not something we could do, as it would both upset all the players who bought the boxed version and the retailers too. If you would be one of the owners of the boxed version you would agree with me completely.Originally Posted by Alessandr0
