if you find a spambot, post a link to its posts, its username and why you think its a spambot. hopefully this'll make the mod's lives a little bit easier.
i'll apologise in advance for anyone i post here that isnt a spambot. basically if i see some random advertisement for handbags or something from a member with very few posts, i'll assume its a spambot

All you have to do is hit the ! button on the post and it notify's the mods.....incase you didn't know. So you don't have to have this thread just hit the button and it lets them know

all spam from the spambots listed here have been reported.
there are a couple of their posts i havent reported because surprisingly they arent spam
reread some of those posts that you think aren't spam. Think to yourself "is this a meaninful post, or has a program just grabbed a few keywords and linked a stock phrase or dictionary definition." Cause some of those posts don't look like they were written by a real person.
Latest fashion is to hire people to get around spam filters which makes it even harder to catch them.
deleted bot ccarltonn45 and all his posts (automatic advertisements only, no real posts)
deleted bot pphilip35 (same)
Yes, it seems that the newest spambots post first some dictionary definitions, random hello posts and only after that some advertisements (usually in their signature) like cheap online drugs, alcohol or fake fashion.Originally Posted by Godmil
I deleted all the posts of the bots before I deleted their accounts. This seems to be the correct way to handle the spam. Sipe has also deleted lots of spam threads (started by spambots).
Please inform all bots in this thread, so we can quickly handle them.
I delete bot with all their messages when I see one. Somebody must be faster than me as I haven't seen that many of them lately. The stranges ones have been the bots that advertise with the spam reports. Basically only moderators can see them, but those certainly caught my eye.
No actual advertising here yet, but to bump a few week old thread with just "Thanks a lot for sharing a great info post.." Makes me think colton1237 is a bot in waiting.
