    advice. NEEDED

Ok so it isn't often i'll admit i'm not all that good at something but today is an exception.

I make good levels on trials, i mean fun hard exciting levels, but for some reason my backgrounds just look ****.

every level lacks that depth that so many "amazing" levels seem to have.

    anyone offer anyadvice ?

heres an example of a level i tried to give good depth ...

looked like a factory to me... maybe you coulda contoured the back wall a lil more... i mean it looked like its name... my suggestion tho would be to get rid of all your top route cameras. and usually its lighting, (sunlight, ambient and dust color) that really sets the mood. that default dust color is my least favorite color... like gerber baby food peas....

I agree with BlueMage. Custom cameras are really more of a hinderence than anything.
Also landing on a physics object is fine if you can get some grip off it but landing on wood pallettes and trying to drive off them would just infuriate me.

The track looked pretty good though. It's all about finding the right balance of objects that fit into your level design.
You have to say to yourself "if I rode through a factory what would I expect to see?" Same goes for any other themed track.
To get tracks that look like the original ingame ones you need to remember to have smaller objects infront of the line and larger objects behind the line. Just throw about some junk and the track starts to feel more populated and having the objects set in this way gives an increased sense of speed.

I think you need to work on flow, personally if a map doesn't have good flow and scenery i cant get into it.
