and with respect to anyone else wanting to recreate trials 2 tracks, at least let fusion know (maybe even ask permission?) and make sure to reach the standard hes setting. they are class

I know it's been said before, but this is an awesome idea. Sounds like something I would have done if I had played the second edition . But HD is the only one I have played, so it's nice to be able to play exact replicas. The tracks look and feel great man, and as far as people are saying that HAVE played the older version, the replicas are spot on! I look forward to seeing the rest

It has it's difficulties due to the two games having VERY different bike handling so while the tracks may not be a pixel perfect replica in terms of object spacing, they are as close as I can get to the original in terms of riding flow and usable techniques.

I had thought that would pose your biggest problems. I have seen some vids of people playing Trials 2 SE, and I could see a big difference in how the physics of the bikes react. Must be really tedious to get it right. Mad Props man

There are some other trackmakers who have made some excellent copies of Trials 2 SE tracks but not that many.
And those tracks that I've played are HARD!
I realise EF is starting with the easier difficulty level ones here.
I'm not certain but I think RedRider has made one and maybe QCChopper and there's probably others but they are all impressive and despite the very different handling on the PC as has been mentioned ( I found it near unplayable compared to TRialsHD but you probably just need to get used to it all the time and use a decent controller ) the tracks themselves are rock solid.

But even the easy ones are superb fun and I still can't get the platinum on Ladder so they all offer a challenge.

It might even be interesting to have a Trials 2 track challenge competition at some point in the future to see the ninjas battle it out.
