man... im terrible at holding down forts...

guys... i scanned all the posts over the five pages and i just cant find a definative answer for ya on the signs issue. i'd swear i read somewhere about 'if ya need to tell someone where to go be creative...' but i cant find that post. with luck crow will get a chance to answer this. i should never be allowed to hold down the fort... i should only be cleaning up afterhours for my rent money... lol

Ok builders, The tournament has officially begun!!

THE RULES:
You are only allowed 3 types of objects. You can use as many of these 3 types of objects that you want, but no more than the 3. Different sizes of the same object count as 1 of your objects. So if you use the 3 sizes of metal slicks, then these are all of the objects you are allowed.

Tools,explosives,effects,lights and cameras do not count for your 3 objects, so you can use as many of these as you want. You CAN NOT use them as track. Only for their intended purpose or decoration. Signs however, do count.((((((((((( If you use any sign, it will count as one of your objects.)))))))))))

Ok guys and girls. I think and I've had no confirmation from crow. I just so sick of this rules crap. From what I gather the rules are simple. Make a trac using 3 objects. Use these 3 objects for the driving line. Nothing else involved in the driving line will be considered.
As for DECOR AND PHYSICS. USE TOOLS AND YOUR PERSONAL TOUCH. but only and only should and Will 3 items of your choice be used on the driving line.
It's not so hard to understand. So get on with map making and stop with the ****.
It's your comp. The rules are simple.

yeah mate Crow did say if you need to tell some1 what to do then get creative, its not too hard to make an arrow or something out of sticks etc and if people want some signs to add a bit of colour to the track you could just try putting a point light over a home made arrow or something, this is quite a basic idea and obviously you can be more creative then that if you want

Ya, he already said no signs. I'm just using somthing else to indicate direction.

Object selection is so important with this challenge. What i'd like to see at a later date is a 3 or 4 object tournament with no exceptions--oh, and everybody would have to use the same objects. It would be cool to see how people would get creative with that!

... i still like the idea with using only one object no exceptions, no explosives, tools or whatever. that would be a challenge.
i think 3 objects AND tools, etc. is too much.
well, maybe i'll make a 3ol-track anyway

p.s.: rorschach, i like the idea that everybody has to use the same objects though!
