    Animation

could someone explain to me what the "animation" tick-box does when its on or off or triggered. i know it depends on the object but a few examples would help, for example; fire. still confuses me

also, one thing ive had trouble with for a while is triggering physics on two glued objects and keeping them together when theyre falling or whatever. any help would be appreciated

    Re: Animation

for some reason you cant change the animation of the 'effect' objects.

what animation does is normally some kind of special movement. the only ones that come to mind are the pistons animation is going in and out, and the flippers animation is, well, flipping.
unless no-one else answers i will leave this for someone who's better than me at explaining things to explain what it does in detail

as for the physics, i'm really not sure why the objects do that, but the only way round the random explosion of objects is to have every object's physics off except for one. then you just trigger that one object who's physics is off, and your sorted.
