Poor rob green, english goal keepers cant even fart without being slaughtered by the media, if the tabloids avoided destroying the heart and soul of all the english team for a month, England would probably win the tournament, but they wont so England will never lift the cup again unless they invent a time machine and constantly relive 1966.

    Re: Rob Green

you never know boris, we've two easy games coming. we'll make the final 16 and maybe vs america it was just first game jitters. hopefully they'll turn the heat up from now, smash algeria and slovenia and be ready for the finals.

i dont blame rob green for losing the match (although technically he did, hence 'donkey') but the fact is we should have won by about 3 goals regardless of any stupid mistakes. as soon as they equalised all energy went away until the final 10mins and it was too late. i mean i didnt even notice lampard was on the pitch - one of the best in the world, nah.

we'll never win the world cup til rooney starts bangin some goals in, which he will

yeah id love to see them doing well, im not a bitter Irish man that hates seeing England progress. Lampard really suffers from nerves in world cups, euros etc. Terry and Carragher now though, imagine messi, torres, ozil, ronaldo, robben, fabiano, my granny running at them and then imagine heskey against any top class centre halfs but i really do hope they do well.
