i've been using the micro donkey quite alot recently, and at a certain section of one track, the rear suspension will compress so much that the back wheel gets stuck in the mud guard.
has anyone had this themselves?
its really annoying, but i doubt it will affect many people, because it only seems to happen to me at the jump after the backwards hop on badlands.
i have found a way of getting it to happen only about 30-50% of the time, but it's still really irritating when it does happen, because the bike loses so much performance you cant get over the next couple of jumps to the checkpoint
Video/ screenshot maybe?
I can replicate this 100% of the time:
On Donkey Business, after the 3rd checkpoint (launch over the high duct), if you pull a double-backflip (easy to do) out of the duct elbow, you will compress the back suspension so far that it sticks, and you can't keep speed up on for the next obstacle.
It will unstick on its own, but it takes a few seconds. I think the double-back flip is cool, but had to pull it out of my run to get platinum.
He doesn't do a double in this video, but the part I'm talking about is at 0:25 (video time, not track time) in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_HRh_NHds8 (not my run or my video, just found it on YouTube)
More annoying to me about the Donkey bike is that there appear to be 2 tracks where it is legal to USE the bike, but where it is impossible to finish:
I'm talking about Rock n' Drop and The Rise and Fall. Both of them have a similar "big drop" followed by a "big jump". Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I've tried both gunning it and coasting, but can't seem to get even remotely close to making the jump.
Has anyone ever completed either of these with the Donkey bike?
ts nice to know i'm not the only onegetting the glitch. i'll give those two levels a go, but i wont make any promises.Originally Posted by MegaTrain
also, i'll see if i can get a screenshot for you crazhalo
heres a pic of the glitch. it normally happens on the ramp below this, but this was the first time it happened in the run. notice that not only has the mud guard got stuck, but the rear suspension is being held in a very compressed position, making the bike ground out very easily
sorry for the crappy quality - i really dont have a very steady hand
also, i tried rock and drop and the rise and fall with the micro donkey, and i couldnt get either of them
