After discovering that the pheonix was faster on Mother of All Jumps, I began experimenting on the other scorpion tracks. Today on Smooth Jumps I got a time of 30.078 with the pheonix. It put me at 60th place on the global leader board.
Other scorpion tracks I haven't done bad at either. 21.705 on Basic Bumps and 14.372 on Middle Name: Danger
I guess what I'm trying to say is, what tracks is the scorpion really necessary for?
i've always been better at smooth jumps with the phoenixOriginally Posted by jhop420
just got 41st on where's the ground with the phoenix 54.499 - pretty sloppy too - could probably get under 54 seconds if i clean it up - there's a lot of cool time savers with the phoenix - check out my replay![]()
i've improved the following tracks by switching to the phoenix: Middle Name Danger, Hello World, The Breakdown, Where's the Ground
Just got 4th on The Breakdown with the Phoenix![]()
Every track the Scorpion has a 1st place run is necessary until it gets beaten by the Phoenix.
I disagree - one bike may hold the record for the track but it doesn't make it the best bike for the rider - everyone has their own styles and in this case it's much easier for me to use the phoenix - I honestly think I could have never got under 15 seconds with the scorpionOriginally Posted by ChicagoAJ![]()
also how will it get "beaten by the phoenix" if everyone follows your logic of the scorpion being "necessary"
No, but it does make it the best bike for the track.
When the Phoenix starts beating the Scorpion on Scorpion dominated tracks, I'll start seeing your logic as acceptable.

"best for the track" is different then "best for the rider"
my "best for the track" with the "best bike for the track" is not the best i can do therefore it's not the best bike for me
Jumped from 120 to 11 pretty quickly using the phoenix on Breakdown. MUCH easier. (for me)
Edit: Rank 6 now
