sometimes when my internet is actin up all choppy, i delete the update for trials and play it offline. just got it down to 1 fault today (yes it was on king of the hill lol) and im gonna keep tryin until i get 0 faults for braggin rights and maybe a cough tshirt cough.

Why did the devs give in to many sissies who asked for this to be taken down a bunch of notches?!?!

This has really been talked to death, but it's because "a bunch of sissies" was 99% of the Trials fan base. It was easily a good business move to show the fans that they really do listen when an overwhelming majority of them want something that is reasonable to give to them. I personally still disagree with the decision, but I can entirely understand why they did it.

Apparently the faults has become the dev's problem, not our own and because of that, people will never be as good as they could have or take it to a higher level. Besides the only reason people asked for it to be tweaked is because there was an achievement for it...buyin a game based on achievements alone is just a waste imo.

That being said, i find the original more fun and will continue to play it offline even after i no fault it.

If you delete the update/cache will it effect your times and leaderboard rank? I would have rather beat the old marathon then this one, it would have been more satisfying, but I didn't even know about it until after they changed it.

The thing about achievements is, that some people go for completion (like me) and when they get a game that they love, only to realize that they can't "finish" it, it will drive them mad. Now you could say that with practice, people could have gotten the achievement... which is true for some people, but others would have never been able to finish it. And from an "achievement *****" perspective, it was a great business move to change the tournament. I know at least a dozen people that wouldn't buy Trials until the achievement was changed. To many people. Playing a game for achievements is the fun part, not literally the game. Its hard to explain to people but it is fun getting gamerscore in a game that isnt even very good.

No, it will affect nothing except for gettin platinum which will stick to your medals. If you already got plat, then nothing will change at all. I dont blame you man, i didnt start playin til after they patched it regretfully. Now im confident i can no fault it and when i get a capture card, ill upload it on here and hopefully maybe get a late tshirt.
