    My new steed

My trusty old frame was kind of... no longer... straight, so I splurged on a frame, fork & some other bits. So it's not all 'new', more of a Frankenstein with my old bike (2007 Monty).

    Some specs:
    Frame: Rockman Aurem III
    Fork: Rockman 20"
    Head stem: Monty '07
    Handlebar: Monty '07
    Head set: Chris King NoThreadSet
    Front wheel: Monty '07
Rear wheel: Echo SL hub, TryAll hOle rim, Sapim spokes
Front brake: Formula The One 160mm
Rear brake: Shimano Saint M810 160mm w. Goodridge braided hose
    Freewheel: White Industries ENO
    Cranks: TryAll ISIS 160mm
    Pedals: Nuke Proof Proton Mag-Ti
    Bashplate: Echo SL
    Tyres: Monty Eagle Claw

    Re: My new steed

Apart from a few rare exceptions, competitive bicycle trials bikes don't have seats.
Most people think this is dangerous, but trust me; having a seat protruding from the top of the frame, where your body is repeatedly moving backwards and forwards and up and down, is MUCH more dangerous.
Moto trials bikes are much the same; they will usually have a sticker where the seat would normally go, but no actual padding. This is to maximize the space available for maneuvering your body mass.
Take a close look at the Phoenix; it doesn't have a seat either.
