New User needs help
Ok so I have just had the game for about 2 weeks now. I can fnish all the tracks except like the last 2 on extreme.
My question is, I see on videos all the time most people can stop on a hill that has an extreme incline. I cant do this. Is it my bike or user error, if user error can someone explain how to do this.
Second thing is user tracks? Is there another way to access others custom tracks without having to FR them? I can never catch anyone online to get them.
Any other suggestions anyone can give on technique....etc would be awesome!

Re: New User needs help
To stop on a steep incline feather the gas, its user error
Just takes practice.
As for customs, yes you need to send them FRs heres a thread for starting out:
http://www.redlynxtrials.com/forum/v...hp?f=53&t=2606
Has a bunch of people who create custom tracks and share them.
Also welcome to the forums! Its a nice place here
You can come to the webchat (on top in a link) and people are always in there you can ask questions for help and tips etc.

for custom tracks, the other user does not need to be online to you to get tracks, they jus have to accept yoru request. they can be offline for 90 days, and they can accept your request via xbox.com, you can still download their tracks even tho they're not online.

Watch the bottom right corner of the the screen when your watching replays or vids on youtube, to see what exactly they are doing with the controller when they're tackling the hard obstacles. Then try and mimic that in your run.

Re: New User needs help
If you are having difficulties with steep inclines, i suggest maybe making a quick track in the editor, with a similar obstacle, but make it slightly easier to begin with. That way you can practice the techniques you need without having to feel rushed, or that you're not making progress.
Some people make entire tracks with obstacles that give them trouble, just for their own practice.
Another thing is, maybe take some time away from the extreme tracks. 2 weeks isn't very long, and you're already at the extremes. practice some of the hard or medium tracks, and get them down to where you're pretty comfortable with them. (You don't need zero faults on them, but aim for a gold medal.) If you spend some time on these and come back to the harder tracks, they'll be much easier.
Oh, one final thing. If you are having troubles feathering the gas to kind of hold you place on steep inclines, go back to Upwardly Mobile (easy level, i think) and just try to stop yourself on the inclines, and then make your way up them, rather than speeding up them. it'll give you some practice at least.

Re: New User needs help
Take heed of lesprit's Upwardly Mobile advice, I did the same and it helped me hugely.
Top tip.
