Track Editor Navigation
What i would like to see is the editor camera mechanics changed. Having to move the screen with the cursor (crosshairs...) and having to us R3 to switch camera modes (when an object is not selected) just slows progress. LT and RT are Dead Buttons when moving the editor camera. My idea would be...
Use LT (Hold down) for normal camera view ( Up, down, right, left, in out). Use RT (Hold down) for 360 degree camera view (Up, down, left, right, in, out). When holding down either of these it will lock the cursor in place wherever it is on screen and you would be able to move the screen instead of using the cursor to move the screen (Navigate the map faster). When neither are held down it would just allow the cursor to be moved around (When the cursor hits the edge of the screen it just stops). Once an Object is selected the camera would act as we now know it by allowing the cursor to move the screen and assigning LT and RT back to rotation and R3 back to switch camera mode. You can switch camera modes while an obect is selected as it is now, so i don't see this being a problem.
Also, being that everyone is used to the way the editor navigation works now could this be something that you could toggle between navigation styles in the option menu?
I know this is small in comparison of the many ideas here but i think it would help immensely.
This was just a thought being that i am now officially addicted to making maps
What do the Devs think?

Re: Track Editor Navigation
Small correction to my above post, L3 for switch camera mode, no idea why i kept typing R3.

Re: Track Editor Navigation
Agreed. Also perhaps introduce a custom character editor for those, not unlike myself, who like to stand out a bit. Being that everyone can't be one the top 100, at least let the losers have a unique style as the get pwned. lol. but seriously!
