ive never played trials 2, and all i said was to step lightly in this area.
and i dont see what the crazy tricks reference has to to with my point.

    Time goes on
yep true, think i love trials hd so much im more worried about what we could lose from the game than excited about what could improve

also its interesting in the first link to see what Trials 2 players thought of Trials HD at first. i never had Trials 2 but id played the online flash games and i knew what it was about but never experienced it properly until HD came out last year.
and even more interesting was lestropie's early run on brown boxes.

They did that with Gears2 completely overhauling the engine from Gears1 and it was a big failure. Same goes for MW2 from Cod4, they let the success get to their heads. Like the others said, if it aint broken, doesnt need fixin. Just my opinion.
You think MW2 was a flop!!!????? It is one of the most sold games in 360 HISTORY! Coming only in second to Halo 3, and which MW2 has only been out for 8 months and Halo3 came out in 2007(we'll see who wins )

    1.Halo 3 (8.1 million)[24]
    2.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (7.479 million approximately; 6.471 million in US,[25][26][27][28] 85,411 in Japan,[29] at least 1 million in UK)[30]

It has become champ of fastest sellling videogame of all time!!! It has been most played game on XBL ever since it's release. It has pushed the FPS genre to a whole new level.

COD MW2 is the s**t, best FPS ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The statistics, and 7.5 million ppl agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you make a great point crow but im a cod4 person and regardless of sales i will never admit to mw2 being 'better'
in fact, im putting it up for discussion in off-topic

7.5 million people do not agree, a fair few of them were "tricked" into buying it thanks to the hype. Both me and my brother purchased it on the day of release, both haven't played it after the first week. Halo is a much more enjoyable game IMO. Halo Reach will break all the records September

Re: for the love of god, dont mess with the physics engine!

I think thay could change the physics engine a bit, not because its bad(I think it rocks)but because it would be fun to level the playing field for some time "somewhat" so all players start from scratch (well not entirely from scratch but...)

I for one think the physics engine in trials 2 is terrible compared to trials hd.

On a sidenote theres a pretty good online game called TG Motocross 2 on teagames.com and mousebreaker, actually has decent physics (although simple tracks) and quite fun for a few minutes per day, so if you dont have your xbox near try it out.

Re: for the love of god, dont mess with the physics engine!

I'm just wondering in all actuality if anyone on the development team has actually ridden a bike in their lives after playing this game.

When making a physics based game at least use some real life physics when you program it. I have spent all my life and all my experiences getting acquainted with a bike and how they handle and tried to play a game which is supposed to be based off it to find it is the most ******ed feeling representation I have ever played with the exception of Excite bike for the NES.

Things like rider weight shift totally lifting the back of a 300+lb bike (and that's if its trials spec'd) off the ground to the amount of throttle that can flip a bike over backwards on a slope but barely crawl up it is ludicrous. Please for the next physics engine have some one design it that

A: has ridden a bike and is not just speculating
    and
B: has some idea of how physics actually works

Trials Bikes are 150 pounds and they do that all the time on them

It is the exact opposite of what you said here. You couldn't be more wrong

You must be like 10 years old

Really, I think your confusing your lack of skills with the trials engine having poor physics.
