Okay it's time for another Trials HD competition, one of monster proportions. We are teaming up with the guys at thetechgame.com to bring you some awesome prizes. This competition is going to be a TheTechGame against the RedLynx forums, where you guys have to design a monster boss level. The overall winner from either TheTechGame or RedLynx's community will win this:
The first step of declaring the Grand Prize recipient will be to crown a winner on the RedLynx forums and one on TheTechGame. Both finalists will win a Trials HD hoodie and flag, and then our special celebrity judge from outside the community -- Terry Nagy of Apogee Software -- will choose between the two finalists and award the Grand Prize, the LEGO® Creator Monster Dino.
Submissions should be made by YouTube video, if you don't have a capture card don't worry, make your submission by recording with a webcam or handheld camera, as long as the quality is good enough to see the track it will be fine. Alternatively you could send the track to a friend or a member of the site that has a capture card to record it for you.
When submitting your video to YouTube it must be uploaded like this:
Title:

Description:
"Username's" submission for the Trials HD competition at http://redlynxgame.com

Below is an example of the sort of thing we are looking for:
Here are the rules
-Your entry has to be submitted by Sunday, June the 13th before midnight GMT
-Your contraption has to be a racing track, not a skill game.
-You have to upload a YouTube video of your track, quality is not important as long as the track is visible.
-You have to dispose of the boss in some way, not just outrace it, you have to go for the finish.
Criteria for judging:
-Originality
-Technical merit
-Different patterns of attack from the boss are encouraged.
-Different ways of hurting the boss or multiple steps for winning the battle are encouraged as well. They have to be shown in the video to count.
To conclude, this contest is aimed at experienced map makers and since it is a pretty daunting task to create a complex boss, the competition goes on for roughly six weeks. Everybody will have the time to build with no rush.

awsome contest!! been thinking of doing one eversince i seen your chicken. Thought it would be a great way to end my space odyssey series to. Now i can try to kill two birds with one stone. Goin to get strted asap

But I wont be doing this because last time Redlynx did a contest with TTG they wouldnt even reply to any of my messages, or co-operate, unless your a regular there.

Hey Sleepy, there are 2 contests: One on RL and one on TTG, if you enter from here, you'll have nothing to do with TTG whatsoever, as the person who judges the 2 finalists for the Grand Prize will be neither from RL or TTG. If it were only up to me, I would say just one but I will consult with Antti and TTG Sean and we'll decide and I'll keep you posted. Don't get your hopes up though, because if people start to enter both it defeats the purpose of having a face-off... The more I think about it the more I lean towards only one, but I will come back with final decision as soon as possible.
