and not going to get that many responses since red wine and cider are acquired tastes. Red wine gives most people headaches, and cider tastes of vomit.
cider. dont think ill be drinking wine for at least another 20 years![]()
Dry white wine. Red gives me headache... But some dry ciders are good as well.
Definitely cider, here in Quebec, Canada, cider is what wine is to France, Quebec has a great reputation for having great tasting ciders. I will have wine on occasions and meals sometimes but I am much more of a cider guy, as long as it's not a sparkling one, as I prefer apple must (it's a sweet and alcohol free carbonated apple drink) to sparkling cider but it's the ice ciders that take the crown for me, they are very expensive, 15-25$ for a 375ml bottle but it is so good and much sweeter than regular cider although it is more of a digestive. I try to resist but have to have one once in a while...
Red wine. I don't like it extremely dry tho. I dislike strong cabs or merlots. I like a more medium bodied like pinot noir or more preferably, and i highly recommend if you see it, Malbec. Malbec is a type of grape(not a region) and it's been my favorite wine for at least 3 years. the finish on it is amazing.
I'll drink a white but it'd have to be all there was, altho i do have a soft spot for a saviougn blanc, they make me giggly like a little girl. I can't stand buttery c******nays.
I only drink wines when eating or going out, never to get drunk by myself, altho if i was going to do that wine would be my 2nd choice of method. I prefer Jameson(irish whiskey) and ginger when i'm going out or that rare occurrence of wanting to drink at home.
Reason i like jameson is cause it's triple distilled which gets out most of the particles or contaminants(forget what they're called atm). Its those particles etc which is the difference between a good whiskey/vodka/rum and a bad one and more importantly the difference in how you feel when you wake up in the morning. If you drink ****ty stuff you're going to feel like **** if you overindulge. This may not matter when your 18 and are indestructible but as you get older it makes a difference. If you can afford top shelf get it, not necessarily the most expensive but something other than the crap you'll get if you just ask for a screwdriver or whiskey sour.
at a grocery store you don't want to buy a bottle of wine that's cheaper than 10$. In a restaurant don't get a glass cheaper than 7$ or a bottle cheaper than 25$
France and California are dependable, but imo Aussie wines are just as good and Chilean wine is very popular right now.
25 year old Jemmy (Jameson) would blow your mind man its obviously abit more expensive but well worth it. I only drink whiskey maybe once or twice a year as it turns me into a crazy golem type character. I love Merlot wine it rejuvinates the liverOriginally Posted by ender3but if im going out to get blootered its normally a few tins of ******ss followed by a bottle of Jagermeister/morgan spiced rum/Huzzar or Finlandia vodka
But definetly red wine for me as when i was maybe 12 or 13 i had my first bad experience with drink and it was cider, i got that drunk that i pissed and sh1t my pants, i stumbled in the door and my father dragged me out the back garden and hosed me down![]()
