I was thinking of doing some short video tutorials of those little tricks needed to go faster. I want to focus on specific obstacles as well as technique. Here's some examples of things I want to do.
The opening front flip sequence in Stock market
Getting over the Sign in Smelting Hazard
The flip to gap sequence on Groundhog Returns
The beginning sequence on Pro Speedway
The front flip gap in Dreamscape
Gaping up to the platform on Groundhog Begins
The opening sequence on Concrete Dreams
Bouncing from the tire over the dynamite in Inferno 2
Beginning of Breakdown
Clearing the big gap at the end of Trippin' the Plywood
The balancing beam gap in Fantastic!
Going under the vent at the beginning of Isabelle
I've done a prototype video on the stock market sequence. I don't have an HD capture device or a good editing program but this what I came up with.

Any feedback and suggestions would be appreciated
I like the idea of this. Very helpful if you want to break the top 100 on track times.
Looks awesome! Great job.![]()
For the Concrete Dreams tutorial, I think you should include that in order to bounce off of the container, you need to do a good spring jump (quickly pressing forward right as your tire hits the container), because obviously, if you don't do a spring jump, you won't clear the gap. I could see that causing some confusion.
Great idea! I like it a lot.![]()
great Tut. cant wait for you to get the HD cam out, and get crazy with the editor
do you mind if i'm a huge pain and suggest adding the tyres shortcut on inferno 2 to the list?
That's a good idea. I will add that to the list. I will also add the beginning of Breakdown. Anymore suggestions ?Originally Posted by Reaper392
