the best bike launcher? (video added) | Forums

i've made a very impressive bike launcher ski jump game, and i was wondering if it was the best there is, or if theres something better out there.

currently, i have 2 versions:

- WIP4, in the video below, is very reliable, and can throw the rider 524m, where the end wall is, or the rider can stay on his bike and hit my PB of 382m
- WIP7, the version with a rebuilt catapult, and where i've hit the limiter left, right and up, is pretty unreliable at the moment, and was a bit laggy so i've turned the fog up much higher than i'd have liked to.
even so, my best run is about 882m
i havent tried staying on the bike much, but it seems to be about as good for that, despite the rebuild.

has anyone got a ski jump to beat that.
ps. redrider, has teoz's slingshot got anything on either of my catapults?

Teoz slingshot is the farthest launch ive seen, ill have to get a video of it

ps. updated the OP - i'm slowly but surely deleting the wall blocks

updated the OP because i've finally deleted all the wall blocks i wanted to (the level's now about 128x16x5)
