Kris Holm is amazing. He's the reason I got into Mountain Unicycling to begin with.Originally Posted by noobaroniNcheez
I own it on DVD, and it's one of my favorites, although I felt like the amazing camera work and production techniques almost distracted from the riding. Personally I think that the whole Collective series has a better balance of good riding AND good production. Life Cycles focused so much attention on one that the other suffered a little...Originally Posted by heetsauce
Seen this too. Akrigg is amazing!Originally Posted by heetsauce
New World Disorder 3 - back when the series was actually GOOD and focused on REAL mountain biking and not 90% dirt jumps and tricks.Originally Posted by heetsauce
I've watched this guy ride in real life and the balance he has is unreal... probably my favorite trials rider. ( I consider Akrigg and Macaskill to be more street than trials )Originally Posted by heetsauce
I saw this just a few weeks ago! That trail looks so cool - I'd love to try a few of the easier elements on it. I've never seen a trail designed with two lines weaved together so perfectly.Originally Posted by heetsauce
...and now to contribute something myself:
Darren Berrecloth's 2010 Red Bull Rampage run. Darren is one of my favorite DH/Freeride riders. I can't believe that run was 3rd place; I thought it was way better than Cam Zink's 1st place run.
Finally, I suck compared to all the pros of course, but here's one of my own Mountain Bike videos.
Riding is ridiculous, commentary is just as good. I wish our commentators got into it like this.
and here's where i found it, interesting vids (side by side) and discussion about it.
Champery is insane. Danny Hart is insane. Can't even fathom the amount of skills it takes to do that.
Just to give you some perspective - here's one of the commentators giving the track a test days before the race
Keep in mind helmet cams always make tracks look way easier than they really are.
That didn't look easy at all. nice vid tho, "it's like bloody trials"...from that perspective to Hart's run, just makes me more amazed at what Hart did. I've added the Hart run into my "inspirational videos" playlist.Originally Posted by roacch
