Nah, got to greatest hits with only 1 fault, and then got 3 on GH so ended up with 4, sill beat my 6 but was pretty annoyed. And yeah, the world championship is a nightmare, took quite a while.

got my World Championship platinum last night. you'd think i'd be jumping for joy considering the bane it's been to my life. but the time i finished with was pretty terrible so i'm more relieved i have the platinum than anything else.
going into Trials/Tribulations i had a decent time of about 7m40s. i made it all the way through the track without a hitch, then reached the penultimate checkpoint (yes, that one again) and managed to get past it then somehow jam myself in between the metal and wood. it took me 25 seconds to get out lol!!
i actually finished the track 37 seconds over my platinum time, so got a 8m55s time for the platinum. which is poor.
oo, interestingly though i was exactly the 100th person to platinum WC! hoorah! well that's if you count HoorayItsMike and HoorayItMike1 as 2 people
last last thing. i noticed there was some guy with 0 faults and a time of 9:10.474, 0.474 off plat. OUCH.

Very well done mate! I was surprised to see that you only went up 20 places by getting platinum, especially with the amount of work you have put in to do it.
It's kinda made me want to leave it alone for a while before having another crack at it. 30k points gained for doing it platinum seems a little crap, I thought it would be double that.

at first i was doing it for ranking points and had the odd 30 mins on it, then it just became my nemesis. now i can relax and just go for points in other stuff and actually enjoy the game again. i mean, look at the date of my OP... i should have had this a looooong time ago.
o, and yeah. don't make the mistake i did. just keep on having a couple of goes a day. keep enjoying the game
PS. i can start playing customs again as well now. only had 2 quick goes on your Green Light one before getting back to the grind. seems grrrreat though from first impressions

Today what happened to me was: Might of not got a top5 time and im no Expert but here it goes: I was playing Inferno II and i have 0faulted it before but i had about 10secs faster than my normal time (probable 59 - 01:02 secs) and at the last swinging hammer i got hit in the damn...HEAD!Originally Posted by raistlin2076

Bump...this one takes the cake. Ok, so i got 2 faults and 4:18.XXX on Ultimate League and i decide to tackle platinum tonight. Well...Wheels of Misfortune, decent run im doing alright, Skyway about 4 seconds off my plat time but thats ok, Prison Break, went 55 seconds, i dont usually get past PB without any faults but i keep going with a strong run. Smokes and Mirrors had one of my best run, just barely off my best time and that leaves me at 3:08 altogether before Isabelle (my best run on this track is 33 seconds) so im thinkin this is in the bag. Well, had a good run until the second to last checkpoint at 30 seconds and all i have to do is hop the 3 platforms to the end. But no right before the last checkpoint my back tire got stuck and i slowly fell back to earth. I was so pissed i threw the controller across the room. I dont usually mess up these checkpoints but my hands were so sweaty and i was nervous as hell. The worse part is im so afraid of attempting this tournament again for the fear of the same thing happening again. I actually almost cried...i was like what the f just happened to me????
Sorry for the rant but ive never been so mad or upset over a game until now. Would have finished top 10 on UL leaderboard and probably top 50 overall on global+dlc.
Andddd im never playing this game sober again. It just takes too much out of me.
