    Shifty's Tracks: Collaboration w/DJ 2wItchy - Diabolical

All Tracks are ON TrialsHD.net, but I have not yet linked them all!

Sorry, I'll do this soon. I promise.

Big thanks to lespritdelescalier and Jarr3tt88 for the videos, many thanks, sirs! Please click their names to see their YouTube channels for amazing tracks!

    Latest Track:

Diabolical - Ninja - Collaboration with DJ 2wItchy

I got creative block and decided to do something about it. I was playing Diabolic and decided to recreate it, ninja style.

Every obstacle from the original is recreated here, though they don't all play the same. Some are visually similar, and some are vaguely like the original.

Big Thanks to DJ 2wItchy for stepping up to the plate and finishing when I couldn't think how to rework the last 3rd, I really appreciate it. He did a lot of visual tweaking that took the track from "blah" to pretty dammed good.

I included a tribute at the end. Enjoy guys!

    Snake & Demon: Medium - Video 1 - Video 2

Snake & Demon takes it's name from the snake styled tunnel after the first ramp (careful of the fire!) and a Demon face I made in the bowels of the level. It's a pretty straight forward speed track with an easy to pick up flow. Not all that difficult. I spent quite a bit of time on decorations, and the track is completely maxed out.

    Shifty-Frustration: Hard - Video

Shifty-Frustration was my attempt at making a technical track, it's about the opposite of Snake & Demon in that you will need to sort out how to complete it on your own. It's filled with scaffolding and chunks of wood, That's it.

Decorations are sparse, instructions are nonexistent. It's a design choice in keeping with the frustrating nature of the level. While the track is completely 0-Fault capable.

    Dosto says
    "fu shifty"

    Shifty-Worm&Imp-D: Hard

Worm&Imp is a Micro Donkey version of my Snake & Demon track, most of the obstacles have been reworked to try to minimize use of other bikes (Phoenix, I'm looking at you!) so that any posted times should be with Donkey. I've changed it up a bit, adding different decoration elements so that it isn't a carbon copy, but if you get a platinum on Snake & Demon, you should be well on your way to a Gold/Platinum on Worm&Imp.

I've set the medal times a bit more like an Extreme track after urging from a few friends, so look forward to easily catching a Silver or Gold. I had the most fun making this track, and I included a SMALL nod to Paralyzer for one of the most fun map sections I have seen in a while.

    Shifty-Kinetica: Hard - Video

My 2nd go at making a track that should reward the player for finding the best line. Not really a "themed" track so much as a think) well thought out, plain racer. I think there are 3 or 4 main paths, but variations, and alterations of the main lines could result in times MUCH faster than platinum.

    Shifty-Vivacious: Extreme - Video

This is a reworking of Kinetica to make it a more Extreme, harder all around track. Each line has been looked at closer to make sure that it offers a bit more difficulty and more technical riding to complete. It offers multiple riding lines, and is darker than Kinetica. I will not brighten it, as Kinetica can now serve as a "Practice" stage for Vivacious. Vivacious is being released because Dosto got a 56 second run (plat) on Kinetica the day of it's release.

Watch out for the super spinning light/wheel/thing of death. You'll see it.

    Shifty-Kineettinen: Medium - Video 1 - Video 2

Kineettinen is a medium version of Kinetic (Hard) and Vivacious (Extreme). It's been reworked to create an easier track, while still making the player focus on the driving line. No wheel of death. 3 (or 4) routes in this one.

    Shifty-BurninRubber: Medium - Video 1 - Video 2

Reworked this track (previously SeizeSure) so that people may play through it more than one time. Strobes are gone, and fire has taken over. Fire and Rubber... There's a joke there somewhere... Anyways, it's a Short track, and I HATE short tracks. Let's all hope I don't make more.

I spent (for me) a lot of time on the environment, making things fall, trying to tie everything into one theme. What's the theme? I don't know, an old tire warehouse caught fire or something.... It's cohesive, what more do you want from me?

    Dosto says
"Dude, you should make a track like that Burnin'Rubber again. Forget about those helicopters and **** like that."
    Shifty-SeizeSure: Medium - Video 1 - Video 2

Red strobes of death! For some reason you have broken into a Tire warehouse and set off the silent alarm. The building lights are off, and the flashing alarm strobes are all you have to guide you. *For a non-headache inducing version of this track, please see Shifty-BurninRubber.

RedLynxGamer (Twitter) listed SeizeSure as Friday May 14th's Track of The Day! Sweet.

    GameScrub says
"i played that track with a spoon in my mouth A SPOOON!
    "A"
    "SPOON"
    "SPOOOOOOON"
    Shifty-ThePile: Extreme - Video 1

This track was REALLY fun to make, it's a warehouse theme (who would have guessed?!) that ends with you leaving the warehouse through a Huge open window. I've tried to keep it feeling like a warehouse while still giving a driving line. This is my second Extreme, and also my most complete feeling track to date, and I really want to thank Dosto, Jarr3tt88, Oski, lespritdescalier, JJtheGerman, Paralyzer, Crowsbeak, and vileDOMINATION for HOURS of testing and feedback.

    Jarr3tt88 says
"Come pile in to play the Pile! Find the fastest route with the many shortcuts, and fast speed action. Flows once you find the right path."

    Shifty-Track 9: Hard - Video 1

Track 9 is my attempt to recreate some of the flow and maybe increase the difficulty and flow of my (present) favorite Trials HD track Technique, I know that a lot of people create tire based track, and I tried to do it a little differently. A lot of testing went into achieving the flow and playability of this track. There's on little shortcut area in it, but this one is basically built for speedy runs with more precision bike control.

I had a lot of fun building it, special thanks to Dosto, Jarr3tt88 and lespritdelescalier for help with testing. You guys make my tracks playable.

    Dosto says
    "This track sucks."

    Shifty-UPS: Hard

Track themed on a UPS shipping warehouse. Not too original but it was mt first (working) attempt at both an elevator and a few other mechanical/physics items.

Whole sections can be skipped. Do some exploring.

    Dosto says
    "it sucks."
"but not as bad as some (of your) other tracks."

    Shifty-TouristTrap: Medium - Video 1

TouristTrap started life as a 1BitTrip style track, but I decided to go a slightly different way with it. 90 degree camera angle pulled back far enough to alter the sound properties of the game, while zoomed in close enough to make it seem like it's not a big distance. This one was my DLC Entry. It lost. Lol.

    Dosto says
"This track sucks big (thrills) time"

    Shifty-TheClimb: Hard

For some reason I wanted to make a Hill Climb level inspired by my track ThePile, I built this one in about 4 hours (Record!) but only because I already knew how I wanted the track itself to look. It stopped being a HillClimb when I was testing, I put in some Checkpoints to test certain sections, and then decided it was better as a pure race track.

    Dosto says
    "sucks"

    Shifty-WYL-T2SE: Medium

Pretty faithful recreation think) of Watch your Landing from Trials 2 Second Edition. I tried to make everything as close as possible to the original, but had to change some things so that it would ride and behave the same way.

    Shifty-FSA-T2SE: Medium - Video 1

This is my version of Full Speed Ahead from Trials 2 Second Edition, I tried to give the track an older feel, and make it seem like the fires in the original version have spread. Again, I tried to give it the same feel (hand made ladders!) while changing it so it would ride close to the same.

    Shifty-EZBZ-T2SE: Medium - Video 1

Easy Beasy! I spent a long long time trying to get this exact, but I quickly learned that things possible in Trials 2 aren't exactly the same in Trials HD, so there are a few differences in the optimal line for this one. Aesthetically, I made this one as exact as I could compared to the original, barrel placement, girders... Lights, a lot of work, I think it turned out pretty good though.

As usual, big thanks to Dosto for testing and feedback on this, and the other, Trials 2 Second Edition track recreations, I really appreciate the help.

    Shifty-Gladiator: Extreme

Gladiator takes it's theme from the Old (though I guess there's a new as well) Version of American Gladiators. You find yourself on an obstacle course, and it's my attempt to make an extreme with some super hidden flow. There's a HUGE Easter Egg in this track if you can make it through the (not nearly perfectly designed) hidden sections. I used a few obstacles from other tracks, and borrowed an idea from xIron Warlordx for a few pretty small sections.

What are you waiting for? Get your Sparticus on.

    NEW!

    Shifty-OrangeCrush!: Medium

OrangeCrush! is an attempt to make a track that uses a normal camera with sections of lighting and fog that are in the 1BitTrip style of track. It's got some Bright lights and Dark Shadows.

Dosto didn't hate this one for no reason.

I can add friends during the week, but weekends are usually not spent on the Xbox. If you send a request, I'll get to it as soon as possible.

I will try to alternate my share every other day, please remove me from your friends as soon as you have all the tracks listed here.

    Re: The tracks of ShiftySamurai

Well... 'Frustration' sure was hard on the first run Shifty! I did like how once you had gotten through it once the obstacles became much easier - mark of a good up and coming extreme track maker.

Looking forward to seeing a few more.

Your wish has been grated, Para!

If you would like to self-induce a seizure, please watch the video for SeizeSure.

If you would like to play the track without worrying about swallowing your tongue, then please watch the video for Burnin' Rubber.
