Xbox (Original) Live Shutdown Takes Place Tomorrow | Forums

In a little under 9 hours, all Xbox Original live servers will be shut down in order to optimize the 360's servers which have been tethered to specific limits due to the original servers (Click here for an exact timer). That means all original titles like Halo 2, Battlefield, etc. will not have any online support and all downloadable content won't be available for download. I'm not sure when but improvements to the current 360 servers will take place in the future.

I recon It's a good thing this is happening, but feel for the oldies who never moved on and for the people like my cus, who only got an xbox last year and plays Halo on it still.
TBH tho I think people should definately just get a 360 and THD and be happy!

Halo 2 can be played on the xbox 360 buddy.....I highly doubt anyone plays xbox original anymore.

Haha, there's no love for the old servers in the poll, 8-0-2 I'm personally looking forward to the new upgrades to come, and besides, most people playing on the old servers were on Halo 2 which is still available for PC with perfectly fine servers
