Ok I can work on some prizes but there is none at the moment. I think I have some copies of T2SE if ppl are still interested.

This tournament is testing a couple of things that I'm applying to the site and coordinating with Ahhme2 to see how things work out.

1. It's a ranked battle so that means you need picture proof to be considered part of the tournament. High scores are listed but for fun. Check out the Tournaments page on TrialsHD.net for more information on how Ranked Battles work.

2. I'm also testing the use of TrialsShare01 with Ahhme2. All of the tracks selected for this mini tournament where from folks that gave us permission to use them and liked the idea. So if you want to compete you can take their tracks if they are on your FL or you can try to get into TrialsShare01 and get them from there.

3. I'm incorporating a new feature on the site that should enhance the level of play amongst track users and and creators. They are Achievements. Yes you can get achievements by playing and using the website. Now this is a work in process so I only have 2 achievements in mind atm and they are going to be implemented as this tournament runs. I will release more details later.

So have fun play the tracks, upload scores, show me the proof and after this the season 2 will start and that is going to be hype!

Sounds good to me, the points system that is. My only suggestion would be everybody gets 1 pt for trying(with proof). Maybe give 4th 2 or 3 points.

Looking forward to working on the tracks. May 7th seems like a ways away but i'm sure it will sneak up on us soon enough.

That is not a bad idea and easily doable that way everyone gets a chance. Might change the point system anyways to accommodate for that. 11, 9, 5, 3, 1 or something like that.

Love the ideas, Scrubby. Hopefully I get through some of this work on my plate and I'll be able to spend some time on this mini-tourney.

Oh I forgot to mention some tracks will be closed in a week. Starting with Dosto's Pipe Me track. By closing the track I can start giving out points. So start uploading your proof pix.

The first one will be closed on the 16th of April. Show Dosto props by posting proof and rating his track

gah! why not have it so everyone can play every track until the end? it allows people to keep joining the tourney throughout the contest.

maybe an XBL message would be in order to notify participants?

well simple answer is I handled it wrong, long answer is that for me to test the ranked system I need to close tracks. The weekend challenges where just that once a week. In this tournament I'm testing various things and this is one thing i FORGOT to mention. For you guys to see progress on the ranked battle I need to close out tracks so I can handle points.

If I leave everything until the end no one knows who wins. If I do this incrementally you can see where you stand in the tournament. Plus I need to close a couple to test it for season two. Which is going to be ranked battle anyways.

I'll msg people on xbox and put a note on the site.

Oh and i like the new ranked battle system Scrub. In the last mini tourny points system someone could've just post all his super good times in the last minute and theres no time for everyone else to respond to his times anymore.. kinda. you know.
This way we know what we're up against.
