In a few days there will be a update to the Xbox 360 allowing USB Thumb Drives to act as a working Memory Card/HDD. You will be able to install games to the thumb drive and play off of it just like the HDD as well as every other Memory Card function.
Chances are even though the thumb drive will be formatted and partitioned using the 360 file system there will be programs out there to read them.
With that being said would it be possible to host tracks somewhere where people can upload and download them?
This would make sharing tracks MUCH easier and allow better feedback to the creators. This would also allow people to store tracks on their PC and swap in/out tracks as they see fit.
Just a thought.
HUGE POTENTIAL! - VERY EXCITE!
now this will be very nice, think i'll have to get my flash drive back from my aunt lol
hopefully there's a way to do this
16 GB USB stick... feels good, man.
I didn't think about that, downloading from a website? Scrub get on it!haha jk
I was excited then very sad after hearing about HDDs being accepted BUT only 16GB. Would be nice to hook up my 500GB external.
lol the sad part is, if this happened, i could get a flash drive alot cheaper, and the flash drive would have more space on it them my current 360 hddOriginally Posted by FlipTaco![]()
finally, a use for my forza Motorsport 3 USB
Hmm, you just got me thinking, Microsoft just finished with this big deal about third party storage devices and blocking any storage hardware that isn't officially from Microsoft and now they're suddenly opening the grounds to all USB sticks as storage units? Something's got to be up hereOriginally Posted by Paralyzer![]()
