As for the engine, I'm not sure about this but I'd imagine it's a complete rewrite betwen 2 and HD.

100% of the game code was rewritten for Trials HD. No Trials 2 game code was used. However we use the same game engine in Trials HD than we used in Trials 2 and in Warhammer 40K Squad Command. The engine has naturally improved a lot from release to release. The physics used in Trials HD was completely redone (Trials 2 used a simple mixed 2d/3d physics engine, while HD uses a full 3d engine), and the graphics engine was finetuned and optimized a lot. It's good that we have our own engine and development tools, so we can constantly improve them.

Yes, if you want some fake torrents with malware in them... Trials HD was never released to PC, so you cannot find it for PC.

I have a wee theory that has no bases in reality, that games which Microsoft put a lot of promotion into (such as with TrialsHD in 'the summer of arcade') are tied down to at least a 1 year exclusivity deal. so I'm still holding a little hope that TrialsHD could eventually come to pc, but it's unlikely.

Microsoft's Summer of Arcade 2009 press release included information about exclusivity of the games. All Summer of Arcade games have at least some exclusivity period... found it here: http://www.console-arcade.com/2009/0...es-and-prices/ . Shadow Complex and Trials HD fully exclusive, Splosion Man one year exclusive, Turtles one month exclusive and MVC2 2 weeks exclusive.

Ah, I didn't know about that. Thanks Sebbbi. I guess that clears that one up then, TrialsHD will never come out on PC. I guess I can only hope then that the next Trials game is released on PC too.

On Steam, You can buy - Redlynx Trials 2 - Second Edition - and I just purchased that game, then I enter this page and You all say - It aint coming out for PC!? Some1, plz let me know if Steam just ripped me, cause it keeps saying this when I try to open it -

Until then, this game is not avaible to play.

Don't worry you haven't been ripped off. Trials 2 is the game that came out before TrialsHD. And it's fantastic

Man it really, really sucks to not be able to get Trials HD for the PC.
I have a decent gaming rig. Trial 2 SE runs like a bat outta hell for me.
I also have a Playstation 3 and I understand that Trials HD is NOT available for PS3 either.... dang, this sucks. This is the funnest game I've played in a while.
