Dear Trials 2 friends
Im playing Trials 2 for a while and I really love the game... but unhappily, for some reason, my game is running just in a very small window on my pc.
I tried to contact redlynx support and a very kind girl tried to help me, but unhappily she didnīt manage to find out what is going on and adviced me to try the forum...
I tried every and each option in game introductory screen and also in windows different screens setup sizes.
Any orientation will be very wellcome!
My system:
IBM PC - windows XP
Intel core 2 duo 8500
videoboard - Geforce 8800 GT (overclocked by factory) EVGA
Gskill 4Gb DDR2 1066 Ram
mobo - Gigabyte GA EP43 DS3L
HD - Seagate 750Gb
Monitor - LG 19" (standard- that old square shape)
when u start trials it shows u

Im afraid that I already tried your suggestion ... as I said before I tried every option in this first game window...
I tried also to uninstall the game and install it again ... but nothing is working... this is a completely mistery for me ...

If it's any condolence, I always play in a tiny window too.
Try to locate [User]\AppData\Local\Redlynx\Trials 2 SE\1.0 folder and see if there is file called setup.dat.
Does this file exist?
Does it modify when you change settings in the launcher?
Do you have access to this file with the user you are running the game?

Hi Jorma , I was searching in my whole HD and unhappily there is not a "setup.dat" file.
Please could you help me to find out what do next?

I think the right folder in XP is C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Local Settings\Application Data\Redlynx\Trials 2 SE\1.0
Try searching somewhere there under your user name. I don't have XP at the moment so I cannot check it.
If the setup.dat does not exist, that's probably your problem. The game reads the resolution and fullscreen/window parameters from there.

I really didn't find the "setup.dat" file in any possible place on my hard disk ... I downloaded Trials 2 directly from redlynx site and uninstalled previous version that I had downloaded before and installed redlynx official version.
If somebody will send me the "setup.dat" file , I will be able to use it on my computer ? And run and configure the screen setup in such way ?
The game launcher should create the setup file when you set the settings in the launcher. The thing you should do is to figure out why the game cannot write this setup file.
Did you find at least the folder I told you about?
