Oh season 2 is going to happen, I just gotta deal with the fact that there could be cheaters. But that is life, after I do this next mini tournament and hopefully with ranked battle points, season 2 will be ready to roll
I'm not a map creator so I'm not going to discuss that topic BUT I do have ONE top tier track I made when I had a vision, while sleeping, in the car on a hot afternoon sun, dehydrated and sweaty.
I woke from my restless slumber and said I HAVE A TRACK...idea!
And so I was in the workshop of wonders aka the editor and created such a wonderful masterpiece that playing it was like combining all the cardinal sins and there would be no rest for your weary soul.
I challenge anyone to take my track that can do the trick and expand on it. In fact I might do a competition about it

I don't know how this glitch happens, but regardless, I don't see what anyone would get out of passing my tracks off as their own.
I do like Scrub's idea about having people interpret your track though. That sounds like a neat idea.

It sucks that the Voltron guys are quitting over the glitch. Although it seems they quit making tracks way before the glitch was found out for their various reasons.
If anyone has evidence of an unknown taking a well known track makers tracks and releasing it as their own then they should name names.
I recently felt like making a track and i guess you could say i "bite" some other peoples style. It's mostly inspired by my favorite parts of Maximus Tech's tracks and in one 3 second portion of it i "rip off" my favorite part of Qc Choppers Hard/Maso Core tracks. I hope they don't mind. (i just lost 2 days work by placing the finish line so far in a wall i can't grab it anymore)
In actuality, if a better track maker took it with the editor glitch they could probably make it alot better, and certainly decorate it better. and I'm in no way saying this is the case with the glitch for you more prolific experienced designers.
bunch of puppets. i find all of you that support and defend the glitch funny including you akatsuki maybe ill just tell everyone how to do it and see how funny it is then. I am not stuck on myself i spent more time than you in the editor than i should have i guess im the ******* for trying to do something different anyways ive helped mad people make and test tracks and never had a problem with it. anyways im over it all you people who arent creative and get you mommy to do everything for you copy away and have fun doin it. peace out

I have said nowhere that I support or defend the glitch at all. All I have said is that I am willing to share my level creating knowledge with people that ask and SHOW them how things are done and then let them try it for themselves.

Ok here is my 2 cents on all this. I've made a few tracks have never copied anyones tracks YET lol JK. I've asked a couple of people how to do things here and there. I've watched a few tutorials i have found on you tube. I'm with rotten on this. All my tracks aren't to technical to make I still wouldn't want people copying my trax. Play my track admire my tracks but don't copy my tracks or anyone elses tracks for that matter. A remake of track more power to you. So to all of you wanna be bad *** track makers ask questions take time to look around for helpful videos. Don't be lazy and just copy someones hard time consuming work. Well that's all i got for now.
yo euphoric im with that, that's what im saying. im not talking about copying a look, all you gotta do is play someones track to see their deco and copy that look no doubt. im talking about the way complex things are built. not wanting to put the time into inventing their own thing, testing, experimenting... you want to know HOW to build? ask me or the rest, we were always down to help out both on here and on xbl.
im not a master of riding or building, it just pisses me off that lazy people want to copy what others took a long time to build, EASILY, then bang out their half *** track with the same elevators, moving parts, all that stuff... im not tryng to hide anything. i just saw the same type of moving light in boris obriens new tracks as the one in event horizon, but im not "whining" or whatever. i even explained how to make something like that in the level editor forum, so what now huh?? i know boris spends mad time on his stuff and always has something creative and new. that's not what im talking about, im talking about innovation with no experimentation... it doesnt exist.
and whoever was talking about the remake tracks.. you kidding me? they are named brown boxes 2 for example, or isabelles revenge, stuff like that. its a homeage, not a bite, its in the name of the track even. thats not even close to what anyone is talking about here. this thread is comedy

Ok in reality how many people know the glitch? Is it really THAT easy to do? I mean cuz in reality we are not seeing an influx of track stealing all of a sudden.
We have a couple of players that know about the glitch and haven't divulged the information. I think we all can agree that copying **** straight is disrespectful. But until Redlynx can fix the bug there is nothing we can do, but hope that it doesn't spread.
So other than the fact that you guys are mad at the possibility of getting your track ripped, which hasn't happened yet as far as I know. And you have all voiced your opinions on why it needs to be fixed. In which I think we all agree.
What is the proposed solution from the voltron team. Since they are the most vocal ones, I'm not picking on you guys just want to know what you guys are thinking.
rot in, heet, skumbag, pshyco are part of voltron correct? so I ask you guys, what do you want redlynx to do about this right now?
Acknowledgement about it and that they are going to fix it?
It's a sad state of affair this bug, but bringing things out in the open is going to cause what you guys fear most. Keep the glitch amongst yourselves and keep riding. That is what I would suggest, but what do I know, I'm not a track creator.
