id like to see how to use hard and soft points and other things i cant think of there names... ive tried messing but it never works how i want them too so i just end up using none.. Euphoric... u have your calling. once you start im sure others will join in and hopefully everybody can learn new stuff to do. will also stop people tring to get in other tracs, so the quicker the better lol... no pressure

Ok I'll start a thread and see how it goes response wise. Just so you know I have NEVER used hard/ soft point to points but I know how to set them up so if you want that first Raist then get in the thread and post the question.

i spent hours in the editor with no tutorials learning the ins and outs of it and learning stuff by myself to set my tracks apart from everyone elses, you have people that invent and copiers that cant come up with their own stuff. I really hate this glitch and what it is doing to the community its just a matter of time untill none of the best track creators quit making tracks because of this glitch watch and see. and for all the people who keep making tracks more power to you

im with rotten, spending countless hours (disgusting hours) on stuff, experimenting testing, all that to make something cool looking. now people can just check out how its done and make 2bit ripoff ****, with only about 2mins of time spent to figure out what took me 2days. and so you're saying that's all cool? no #%$&ing way. i've spent a ton of time in xbl parties and on here in "how to build ____" threads helping people, and i know for a fact rot has too. he's always down to check something out to help someone fix some physics thing thats not working proper (er was before all this stupid bs anyway). i mean ive been seeing ripoff **** for awhile now and not saying nothing, but now that the glitch is out in the open for everyone its just gonna get worse and i gotta voice my opinion. just because im down to help people with THEIR IDEAS doesnt mean i want people opening up MY IDEAS. put the time in yourself, ill help you out. how you think people have come up with all the crazy stuff so far? alot of the best designs come from errors/glitches/experimenting in the editor, not from seeing how its done and building your own version/BITE of it.

no, the glitch is not good for the community or the builders, and as fast as the word is spreading, im gonna be done with all this soon too.

I don't want people seeing exactly how I did certain things but I don't mind SHOWING people how to do certain things with a tutorial video and stuff.
The thing I would hate to see is someone saying they built a level and seeing one of my complex objects in the middle where they just built the obstacles before/after it.

i would argue this topic with you, but i dont really care, even tho i totally disagree.

the number of customtrack creators is not very big, and it will probably not be much bigger either, seeing no global leaderboards will ever surface. a community is about sharing ideas and techniques, not keep them hidden within aa small elitist group. your afraid people will steal your tracks? you end up missing out on an unknown number of potential new tracks created by newcomers, inspired by your work, not copying it.

personally, i wont make another track in trals hd, since i feel its wasted without leaderboards (dont comehere with trials.net.. its not good enough), so either way it doesnt bother me.

people can copy tracks exactly the same if they want by just downloading your track and playing it and re-creating it from there. The concept of giving to the community and not wanting anything in return is what has disappeared from the regular track creators here. If you get a couple of people give you feedback then thats reward enough in my view. No-one is paying for your tracks guys, and everyone knows on this forum who made what. Who cares if someone takes your work and ideas and makes a track from it, people do stuff like that everyday its life

+the trialshd.net season 2 not going ahead, why the need for prizes, people can compete for fun still

Those that are being the most vocal here, you guys have the most views and feedback than anyone else on the forum so expect new track creators to want to make similar tracks in your image. They see how popular your track styles are and try to do the same. This so called glitch would be a major issue if people WERE paying for stuff, they are not and the whole idea of re-publishing another creators work is just beyond me... maybe a young kid needing attention would do something like that but so what. You dont see Redlynx whining about creators copying or doing sequels to tracks from trials HD do you.

i think i might just take one of euphorics maps and put a giant giraffe in it, then take the time to upload it to youtube tell everyone to try my new track and ask for feedback (hehe of course i wont, but thats how ridiculous this paranoia is)

perfectly said... all the great minds in the past have others that " INSPIRED" them. not who they copied...as it will be for 99% of the new trac designers...and some of you so called pros, inferno 3. isabelle remix brown boxes 23 etc were all INSPIRED by redlynx or did you just rip off 'there' ideas.. i think if we carry on being a good community we will see better tracs for everyone to play. if we all carry on *****in instead of sharing ( which they teach 5yr olds at school) then all the great map makers at the mo will will lost in history as they refuse to play trials anymore... one thing is for sure the community will carry on and thousands will carry on playing and tracs will always carry on getting better with all your help or without it. so get over yourselves..

Thats exactly what I have been saying. I have no problem sharing anything that I know to help people get more creative and become better creators themselves.
The only thing I don't want to see is someone opening my level in the editor, saving it as their own and sharing MY level under their name.
I have started a thread in the level editor section now so if anyone has ANY questions, and I mean any, then head there and i'll do my best to answer it.
maybe even the other creators could jump in my thread too to help incase I miss anything on a particular question.
