Re: micro donkey is very helpful

i barely have any plats.. a few... i ride for gold and secrets/ eggs. some plat times im like... yeah ok i can do that' only to get realization slaps across the finish line. my problem is no matter how many times i practice a run, i still mess up somewhere else... ima trial'er but on the lower end of the skills foodchain. still play everyday just about all time available after work but ive plateaud at a goldrider. still love the game tremendously, has the best editor known to video games... its a trials tony hawk park editor but better. thanks for the addiction redlynx. comon say it with me people... more dlc more dlc.... new songs... a way to lock n share editor tracks for teamwork instead of account sharing and copy/paste on our toolbar feature to use things youve built in older trax in some newer trax for that true track sequel feel.
Burn em down to rebuild em to burn em down again...

The donkey is helpful... It's kinda like a baseball player swinging a lead bat to warm up so when he goes to hit with his real bat, it seems lighter and easier to swing.
For Pro Speedway I found that u don't have to use the shortcut at the end to get platinum. I found the part where i needed to be fast was at the beginning after the first big upward ramp there are 2 flat sections separated by a "U" shaped dip. If you can keep your speed after you get up the first climb then bunny-hop over the "U" you should be able to really fly over next section to the little block of wood at the bottom. But ya, that was the last medium course i got platinum on.

One of the things I love about this game is when you dont notice yourself improving and then you try a track you haven't played for a while and suddenly you're a lot faster - I played King of the Hill today for the first time since getting platinum on it and knocked 14 seconds off

Never thought of using the micro donkey as a practice tool... worth a try

doing the no movement with the donkey will be really difficult because it cant even accelerate without flipping over, so i suspect it'll struggle on most of the medium difficulty ones
