Ok. basically i have a Gold in Ultimate League, even though my time doesn't qualify for Gold... so i'm assuming i have more Global Points than i should have.

MegaTrain sent me his spreadsheet and i noticed that when i put my time in it gave me a Silver. i assumed MegaTrain had entered the wrong time into his spreadsheet. so i thought i'd find out the Gold time for Ultimate League on my Japanese SharkBait1977 account, where i hadn't yet even played Ultimate League. turns out his spreadsheet was right, yet it shows me as having Gold in the game!

here are the pictures to show you what i mean :

this first one is on my SharkBait1977 account and shows that the time gold time should be 5:40.000

and this is a video of me logging into my ben1bob account and showing the Gold, followed by my leaderboard time. as you can see, my leaderboard time should give me a Silver.

so it looks like a certain glitch to me. has anyone else got any DLC golds or Platinums they "shouldn't"?

PS. i'm a bit drunk right now so am thinking i might be missing something here. but even though i'm drunk i'm 99% sure i've not missed anything obvious... have i?

PPS. as the video still hasn't uploaded, the actualy time i got was 5.55.213 with 13 faults.

thats a strange one... what bugs me most is i can 0 fault a trac in say 1.30 and get silver or do same trac in 1.10 with 3 faults and get gold. times are just an example but its on maybe 3 tournys. and would that mean you get more points for faulting and gold or 0 faults and silver.. it seems dumb to me

This is weird. I'm tempted to go try and figure out where you would actually be awarded the gold medal.

If this is in fact giving you more Global Leaderboard points, it may help reduce the discrepancy in Megatrain's stat sheet (which I am also going to update today so I can help him out).

Nothing important, but since ben1bob is on the friends list of your Japanese account, the first picture had the evidence that you should have a silver, and you may not have needed to make the video. You also let everyone know that your pass code is "* * * *" (Okay, bad joke, I know..)

Have you done the tournament faster before, but with more faults, yet still having a time that qualifies for Gold?

Because if so, and you play it again, but come in slower but with lesser faults, the lesser fault run is what will show on your account.

It happened to me on one of the original tournaments, my time is currently outside Gold but with less faults, but because I'd done it previous with a couple of faults more and a quicker time, it shows as having the Gold.

Okay, so I ran some tourneys today, including the Ultimate League. I decreased my faults but increased my time on two of them. In the spready, it says that I have a silver on those two, but I show a gold on the game (exactly as DarkSoldier said).

yeah i know there was probably no need to make the video and stuff but i was excited because i was drunk

that's the first time i've ever uploaded a vid onto youtube. i was THAT excited

so basically, if dark soldier is right, you can fulfil the requirements for a medal over 2 or more runs in a tournament?

weird...

can a dev fill us in on whether this is a bug or intended?

You can only fulfill the requirementas in one run, but if you do another after, in lesser faults, regardless of time, that'll be the one shown on your leaderboards.

so do i get the global points for a Gold?

thing is, i'm "sure" i only played that UL once to get the gold, just to get my 100% completed. but i suppose i mustn't have done if no-one else has had this happen...

meaning i'm a berk of fantastic proportions!
