    Oh boy... What a marathon!

Finally, after countless tries, cursing, head-banging, sweat and tears, I managed to get this elusive achievement.

After a first attempt that saw me landing on my backside right after the second checkpoint of "Hello World" (yeah I know) I decided to get it another shot. After dealing with my 3 nemesis (Mother of all Jumps, Underground and Jolly Jumper) I got extremely lucky on Tired Hill: you know when you have your forehead against the ground and you're stuck, hoping to get a front flip that doesn't land you on the back... Well I got it. I had to put the controller down when I reached the 15th track, since I had never gone that far without faulting before. Tension was at its peak after Dreamscape. And when I finally heard that sweet clicky, achievement-unlocking sound on the last track I started giggling. And I'm a grown man... I can't remember when the last time I felt that happy was achieving something in a video game. I still giggle, and it's been 20 minutes...

I can't imagine how you Trials Gurus felt when you unlocked the original Marathon achievement which was eons more difficult. In any case I'm a happy 250 points Trials HD player.

Those are definitely the most difficult 40 points I ever had to get, thanks Red Lynx!

Congrats! Still yet to do this! Why are tracks so much harder to do one after another, how long was your run ? Is the platinum hard to get on it too?

Slow and steady wins the race. It took me almost 13 minutes, but I was not going for the platinum medal, and I probably won't try that for a while. I'm somewhere in the 2900. It doesn't really matter, all I ever wanted were those 40 missing points

    Congrats, Dazu!

Even in its revised form, the Marathon achievement is no easy task.

first try, 11th track passed 0 foults, then xbox frooze... very nice
second try i got it =D (pretty slow time, but whatever, i can comeback laaater)

and yes 1th ramp jolly jumper is deceiving, i have a safe way now tho. lean forward start and release the stick just as i accelerate, i get over everytime with that.

Haa, i thought i'd never 0 fault that...i tried that tournament the most times than ive tried ANYTHING else in the game...and still had 1 fault on it...couldnt 0 fault it.

But once i got that Beautifulll original marathon achievment, i knew i must have been good to achieve that ! And it boosted my confidence alot, and the next day i followed it up by 0 faulting World Championship too..

I didn't get the original achievement, I came close but was too lazy to close the deal. I thought it was easier than people made it out to be. There are a couple other tourneys that are brutal though. Does anyone know what the original tracks were in the ultimate tournament compared to the revised one?
