and all i've done is brought a 2 fault run down to a 0 fault run and would have had platinum if i hadnt wheeled the final ramp to the finish line and fallen short!
to the people that have platinum'd it is it easy to come back to or just as hard to single fault ? not looking forward to it if its in a tournament!
not sure whether to ignore the girlfriends texts and say i fell asleep early from a hard days work or actually confess to spending the whole evening racing up a ramp falling off and repeating it all over again!
really hope tomorro brings the platinum!
also got bored a few hours ago and learnt to backflip off the platform after the hanging boxes onto the steepish ramp which i thought was pretty cool!

The first time I hit zero faults on this I was only 2 seconds slow of a platinum run. I immediately went back through the track, and got my platinum. If you were confident with your run initial zero-fault run, you should be able to do it again. I would suggest working on it while it is still kind of fresh in your mind though.
I think this track shows up in only one tournament: World Championship.
The backflip thing is cool, but if you've got the time to spare.. keep trying to get the platinum!![]()
If you are having troubles with any of the obstacles in particular, let us know.. maybe we can offer some tips..
Congrats! I'm sure you'll get platinum next run, it's the only hard one i've got left to platinum now too.
For me aside Inferno II (1 Faulted on the stupid barrels near the end)this is the one I've probably spent most on, I found it really hard to be consistent in the backflip, the 3 boxes and the backwards bit.
I'm sure you'll have absolutely no problem with brown boxes and groundhog/goin' up aren't too bad either, good luck![]()
LOL! I had the same Idea, when i was playing KOTH the first time (and despaired of that obstacle)! I thought, maybe that was the way to do this...Originally Posted by hoppo111![]()
You will continue to improve and KOTH will become fairly easy to zero fault.
I initially had a platinum in the thousands and a month later was able to move up to the 120s. A month after that I was able to place in the 40s on the leaderboards. After a while you will be surprised at how much less difficult the hanging boxes and the back flip section seem.
Any and all levels get easier the more you play, which is pretty cool. I wouldn't reccommend spending 5 hours on one track*, i'd play an hour, do another track and then come back to the one you're focusing on. After a point i just looked to see what track i was lowest on and try that for a bit and if i was doing well i'd stick with it and if i was messing up the majority of the time i go to another one.
but yes, in a month or so you'll be able to fly thru koth,
*i spent 5 hours a day on Midnight Club for around a week, but ya know tourney's are different and stuff
Thanks lespritdelescalier, the main fault which interupts me is getting up the first ramp from the start I normally get that 8 out of 10 times and my other main fault is falling down that ramp ready to climb the next long ramp, when I land alot of the time I'll fall back and hit my back if anyones got any tips?
Cheers mr turrell that's good to hear although dreading that diabolic too!
Ender3 I agree that's too long to spend on one track but I want to get that one done And move onto the tournament with technique in as feel like I could platinum that, also would be nice to finish all the hard tracks off the initial game, had a quick go this mornin half asleep and got to the backwards bit And crashed so tonights the night! Should take me under top2k on leaderboard too
i spent about 2 hours a night on Inferno II, exclusively, for about 3 or 4 nights trying to 0 fault it a while back. if you're like me it's hard to just move to another track feeling you haven't done what you set out to do. even tho yeah it's probably much better to give yourself a break and play other tracks now and then. last night i played loose screw for 2 hours to get the plat, which i got by 1.1m or something![]()
congrats. and as everyone else says, KOTH will get much much easier now the pressure's off. you'll have it platinumed in no time. and that first ramp will be like second nature to you![]()
platinum!!!!!!!ARRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!
So chuffed as got the platinum with my best time on the track whih is 1.03, had 1.03 before but with one fault!! still hasnt moved me much going from a no fault time to a platinum time? is there many points in it ?
Have got time from a 1.23 to a 1.03? oh well onto the World Cup tournament)
Moving your faults from 1 to 0 will increase your score on the track by a factor of 10x.Originally Posted by hoppo111
