    really dumb question

how do you change which direction gravity works in mid way through a level - in one level i have i want to be able to ride up vertical surfaces/ride upside down, but as far as i know, the gravity modifier only changes the gravity for the entire level.

am i going to have to get creative with the wind?

damn. i did try using the wind in a different level, but its a real pain. i think i might make a trip to the DLC suggestions and put localised gravity modifier in there, rather than entire level modifier

Ya this is one thing that I hated about the Gravity. I like it but it still kind of sucks.

    Re: really dumb question

Yup, wind is the ticket. It takes a lot of work to get the wind placement just right so that it "feels right" when you ride the track. Make it too strong and you can easily kill the rider and cause the bike to explode. Make it too weak and you end up with a frustratingly inconsistent gravity effect. However if you put in the effort and make sure you test the crap out of your track, the effect really works and you can do some pretty cool stuff. Check out Gravity Master for an example of what's possible with this technique.

    Re: really dumb question

hopefully, since i've done a bit of editing to my top secret amazingly awesome level (sarcasm), there arent too many bits that need the wind gravity, although the one really difficult area i have is where i fall off what is effectively a cliff face, then land on a vertical piece of floor thats slightly below.

hopefully this crude ascii diagram will help explain things
