Winner’s Cycle – Trials HD Competition #1
You have style! But do you have Hoodie style?
Hello Trials HD fans! Welcome to the first RLTV competition, as mentioned in the first instalment of our new YouTube show. If you haven’t seen the premiere broadcast yet, and the great tricks and tips from our host Cannibal Shogun, what are you waiting for? Go take a look http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsF9MpKf45s
Now if you have seen that and you’ve come here looking for the rules for the first contest, then in you’re the right place!
WHAT YOU NEED
• Your own copy of Trials HD for Xbox Live Arcade, natch!
• A way to record your gameplay footage and transfer it to a personal computer
WHAT YOU DO
1. Record yourself making your single, best run on the Stock Market track
- No faults in your run!
- We’re looking for the best style, not best overall time
- Show us your best skills and flow tricks
- Video quality and editing are not criteria for judging
2. Upload the video to YouTube, using this naming convention in your upload:
RedLynx-TV Ep001 [gamertag]
where ‘gamertag’ means your Xbox Live screen name
3. Send us an email at winnerscycle@redlynx.com to notify us of your entry!
DEADLINE
We’re accepting entries until 13:00 GMT, Friday, March 12th, 2010 so get to work right away! By the way, GMT stands for Greenwich Mean Time, so if you don’t what time that is, use a site like the World Clock to build up some mad clock skills.
THE GOODS
The winner will receive (1) coveted Trials HD hoodie – that’s a nice, warm fuzzy sweatshirt with a fully integrated, Officially RedLynx approved Hood.
We’ll contact you by email if you’re the winner and arrange all the shipping for you.
Good luck and have fun!
The video with most style... Isn't really cristal clear... Sounds like some cool editing put over an ok run could win that...
Isn't it better to word it something like....
The video with the most stylish run...?
Anyways... If i get something to capture video from by my birthday, 8th of March i might be able to enter...
Loving the RLTV concept by the way... Great job!
Sounds good and I'll give it a go. And as far as I can gather it is not about how the video is edited.
It needs to be one run, uncut and stylish as hell!
I'll have to have a sesh on there when I have my capture card set up. If only you could save a replay of your choice. My capture card doesn't work in HD and playing in SD is crap to say the least![]()
Its not about cool edit. Also if recording is just clear, video cam is just fine.
With style we meant well... Do tricks, keep the flow, showoff etc![]()
Yeah thats what I thought
And I have to say to get a stylish run on Stock Market is no easy task! I've had a few goes and so far it's been pretty lame![]()
Does the vid need to be a core trials track or can it be a custom track?
Would it be alright if in my vid i showed what an average run looked like, and then showed my run?
Can we enter more than once?
That said this is pretty sweet. Trials HD community keeps getting better!
p.s. does anyone know what editing software Shogun uses for his show?
Good idea keeps the game fresh in a way, i have 1 replay that i absolutely love. Its on the track lets get physical i think its ranked in the top 60, i could definetly do the track faster but i adore the replay that much that im never going to improve my time. Check it out anyone who has a chance its worth a look in my opinion.![]()

Great stuff.
I totally agree that this community is still getting better. And it was already the best one around.Originally Posted by ender3
I have sent a message to CS to find out what software he uses.. I'll let you know if he responds.
I heard he uses adobe premier.
I must say though Cannibal Shogun is really good at what he does. His videos for his tracks are pure gold and this first episode was sick. Good job guys, I like the idea and I hope it takes off.
BTW can we submit the vids with faults OR has to be perfect run with crazy stunts?
