Okay this is the final straw....my global ranking score WON'T GO UP !
Right my global score + DLC is: 16748438

Now after doing all of this:

Improving my World Cup tournament time by: 36 seconds
Improving Technique by: 3 seconds
Improving Classic by: 3 seconds
Improving Concrete Dreams by: 2 seconds
Breaking an extra 10 bones on 'Pain! Again!'
Improving my Mountain Climb height by: 12metres
Improving my Ring Of Fire time by: 7 seconds
And a few little things like improving my Dreamscape time by 0.5seconds.

But anyway the point is...my global score+ DLC is: still 1674****
That means all of the above didnt even give me 10,000 points? Maybe alot less than that...

And my Global Score AND Global Score+DLC rank did not move one bit...
Wtf ?

I've noticed this aswell. I finally got platinum on the World Cup tourney and gained like hardly any points at all.
I had already 0 faulted it before but I took off nearly a minute!

yeah i'd be pretty annoyed too if i'd done all that and not even gone up 10,000 points. i wish i had an explanation for you but i'm baffled to be honest...

i would have thought you'd have got at the very least 10,000 points for all that. hmmmmmmmmm

As far as i'm aware platinums SHOULD give you 250,000 points each i think

i see where you come from, i cant seem to get my global up either

i do have 1 platinum left on a tournament with all hards, maybe that would help, but they would still have more than me, i still dont see HOW because mostly all my records are top5-10 and my skill games are pretty good except flugtag and delivery

score takes into account medal earnt / time taken, also there are a huge number of players and sometimes it doesnt refresh your score immediately. The other explanation i can think of is with the huge number of players playing trials now that the 1- 800,000+ players, its rather like a giant sandwich and if you squash it the layers at the bottom will be very very close to one another, which in trials language is like 0.02 secs faster for example. That fraction of time difference can mean going up 10-20 places in the leaderboards on most tracks. Most track times tend to average out aswell in the final 500 times logged, so it must work out your leaderboard position based on who got 1.05 for example first if the 50 or so players all have the same time or near enough. There must come a point where its literally impossible to go any faster than the track will allow and you start to talk 0.02 differences.

No, you get somewhere around 150k-190k at max for each platinum. And improving the score beyond platinum gives only very little extra score. The most improvement you get is by reducing your faults in racing tracks and improving your medal scores in skill game tracks. Improving your scores at tracks you are worst give the best improvement. Improving your scores in tracks that you are already way beyond platinum give only couple of extra points (less than 100 most likely).

Use the score calculation sheets to check how much you should gain for each improvement:

The most improvement you get is by reducing your faults in racing tracks and improving your medal scores in skill game tracks. Improving your scores at tracks you are worst give the best improvement. Improving your scores in tracks that you are already way beyond platinum give only couple of extra points (less than 100 most likely).

I have platinum on EVERYTHING in the game, so i can't possible gain anymore points from that....
I also have 0 faulted EVERYTHING on the game apart from Midnight Club (5 faults) so do you think Midnight Club is my best bet to be getting more points?

Yes. If you were to 0 fault it you would gain a LOT of points would guess over 100,000). Faults are killers on anything. However, with all of the stuff that you've done, I would say it's a little ridiculous that your score hasn't increased, but they aren't cheating you out of anything...it's just the way the system works. Oh, and by the way, improving your Ring of Fire time doesn't increase your actual score, I'm almost 100% positive on that. Only more rings will increase it.
