So I really dont play very much Trials anymore because I got to keep focused on my achievement whoring. But after finishing my contest track today, I decided to try midnight club a couple of times. First try and I ended up with a platinum...
Diabolic - 1
Going Up - 0
Inferno II - 1
Groundhog Forever - 3![]()
Brown Boxes - 1
Greatest Hits - 0
I honestly never expected to get under 10 faults. Now I guess I have to get my last platinum which is in the tournament right before with Isabella at the end.
Yes! I've been putting off playing Midnight Club thinking I would never get the Platinum. Spent 2-3 hours straight on it tonight and finally got it down from 12 faults to 5.
Diabolic - 0
Goin' Up - 0
Inferno II - 1 (pipes)
Groundhog Forever - 0
Brown Boxes - 1 (tight gap you have to fall down)
Greatest Hits - 3 (different places, was very nervous at this stage)
3 more Platinums to get
one place in front of me you bugger!!! haha well done mate, feels great doesnt it?![]()
Sure does! Although now I'm having real trouble with Ultimate League. Played it for about 3 hours today and got gradually worse. Then took a break from it and got the last 2 Platinums in the skill games I needed.
Mine is
Diabolic- 0
Goin Up- 0
Inferno 2- 0
Groundhog Forever- 0
Brown Boxes- 0
Greatest Hits- 1 (yes near the end)
I didnt even read the guide, its all bout your skills as a rider, how you adapt on the go.
I used one technique from this guide, on Groundhog, god damn I hate that track. It's my most hated track out of the six.![]()
I got this down to 6 faults a couple of months ago, and have been trying on and off for the past week. I didn't beat 6 faults once.....
....Until earlier when my brother was watching me, somehow I got it down to 1 fault, only faulted on Inferno II. I was litterally over-joyed. I haden't got that feeling on Trials in a long, long time.![]()
I'm now ranked 14th, just behind you Jhitman.![]()
wrong. if you already know exactly how to pass each obstacle you should need to adapt very little and this guide does a very good job of explaining how to pass each obstacle and im positive its helped hundreds of riders improve their midnight club run. but were all very impressedOriginally Posted by jhitman![]()
Hundreds? There are only 20 people that have done better on midnight club than me so i think i know what im talkin bout. Sure it may be helpful, but the same thing could be said bout a million runs on each of the extremes makin it easier to approach those in a tournament so yea ill take experience over a guide anyday.Originally Posted by WILLYUMZ
j we all know how good you are at the game, it comes up in every thread. i said help hundreds improve their runs. i said nothing about people reading this guide and beating you on the leaderboards. you can zero fault the extremes without much trouble, so can i. but how many other people cant? the guide is here to give people a higher chance of success on the hardest part of the game and it does that very well and you basically called it useless.Originally Posted by jhitman
Im sorry, but to be honest- this guide is about useful as a used condom for me. Why is it that you and i can no fault the extremes? Experience. Every rider is different tho, i really hope this helps alot of people, i really do but i got 1 fault on midnight just by practicin runs over and over and over. Like i said, everybody is different, just had to say what worked for me.Originally Posted by WILLYUMZ
